Amazing how many Hatton fans complain about Cortez yet forget the disgraceful refereeing in the Tzsyu fight.

Tzsyu didn't complain or ***** afterwards like Hatton did either, shows the difference in class.

Hatton HAS to fight Witter, simple as that. He won't, and he'll lose massive credibility by ducking him yet again.

Joe Cortez did an excellent job in the Hatton/Mayweather fight. That was not an easy fight to officiate as both men were pulling out every trick in the book.

I like to believe that Hatton is calling for the Mayweather rematch as a matter of pride. He doesn't want to retire with people thinking that beating made him scared of Floyd. It doesn't matter if the rematch ever happens or not (and I think it will never happen) as long as Hatton calls out Floyd, his pride remains intact.

Ricky Hatton has big support in Liverpool..i like him as a fighter and person. But i like Floyd Mayweather also as a fighter and person..i admire athlete's who are arrogant and are not afraid to lay it all on the table.

Where i live, i was the only person supporting Floyd Mayweather..along with my mum. In work the next day..people know i am a boxing fan. And people where all for Floyd Mayweather admiration..and praising him.

Because i had afew wages on with people. My mum said to me that she likes Floyd Maywetaher because he is very young at heart..something people over look..he has a innocent of a child and is insecure.

    Very sensitive.

    Both great fighters.

Yes and in the rematch Floyd Mayweather beats up Ricky Hatton..he underestimated Ricky Hatton..good jab he was able to adjust during the fight.

I had 7 friends round for that fight and I was the only Mayweather fan in the house, I'd also bet on Floyd by TKO in rounds 8,9 and 10.....I single handedly brought the house down when Hatton got stopped, plenty of money in my kitty the day after :yep

I do like to support the British fighter when I can but Hatton grated on me for ages with his ducking of Witter. Same goes for Calslappy, can't stand all the adulation he's getting at the moment, and it's all undeserved.

oh **** off ignorant *****, what is Witter compared to FMJ...**** all, If he has a chance to beat the p4p no.1 why would you fight Witter, all you do is hate on Hatton and I think your an absolute ****, let the man make his career how he sees fit and if you dont like him...**** off and watch other boxers.

More for pride, but money is also of significance.

Ricky needs to stop talking & fight Witter. He claims he is a man of the people but I argue that he is a man of the drunken football fan. Most proper boxing fans think he should fight Witter instead of taking another big money beating from Mayweather.
