This old news mate. Not being rude, but it was posted a while back.

I dunno if he deserves a rematch, but I would definitely watch it if it happens.

If a rematch happen, it should be at 140 for the 140 Lineal Title.

The first time Mayweather risked him title, not Hatton should risk his title.

The problem is that Mayweather's next fight will be at 154.

Hatton was well beaten by the American after 10 rounds in December but has revealed a surprising mutual respect has developed between the two fighters.

"He has texted me a few times, and he has phoned me a few times, he wants to come over to Britain and watch one of my fights," said Hatton.

Hatton was speaking at the recording of 'A Question of Sport Relief' and explained why he wants people to sign-up for the Mile and get involved in the campaign.

"There is no better cause for a sportsman, I am really happy to show my support, I think it's as much a part of my job as what I get paid for in the ring."

The 29-year-old 'Hitman' also revealed that the brash-but-brilliant American fighter known as 'Pretty Boy Floyd' has confessed he is jealous of Hatton's huge fanbase.

"He even said to me, athough I have proved I am the best, what I wouldn't give to have the love of the fans like you have," said Hatton.

"Being the way Floyd is, it must have been hard for him to give me a compliment like that, but he has certainly gone up in my estimation."

thats really worth a read that!

Didn't know Floyd and Hatton are becoming buds. That's pretty cool. Kinda like Holmes & Cooney are

Actually, that's an excellent idea. Make it a fight that matters, and one where Hatton has a chance. He's toast at 147 no matter how many times they fight. That said, this will never happen.

Floyd could have that kind of fanbase if he was a nicer guy. The reason he doesn't is because he puts on an act of being a bad boy, whereas you could go have a pint with Rick in his parents' pub, or walk into Billy's gym and chat to him. he is an approachable guy and that's why people like him. I always said if Floyd would drop the bad boy persona he'd be respected and adored worldwide. It's a shame, because I don't truly believe Floyd is a nasty person underneath the surface.

Don't forget he plays darts on a Thursday and he beat Kostya Tszyu and he was happy just to win the Bwitish title [*all in the third person*].

Hatton's getting on my nerves. I expect he needs the money to fund his guiness habit through to old age. If a rematch did happen I would hope to see him KO'd early.

hatton had the same chance he had at 147.

Hatton weighed 154 on fight night against Mayweather. Exactly what he weighs as a Jr WW on fight night.
