Its called ineffective aggression, you thought he was doing better than he really was.

The same brand of "drunkenness" that led people to believe Ortiz was doing well before the stoppage, and not getting absolutely schooled for every second of every minute like he in fact was.

So many sad-case ineffective-aggro-holics on this board. :-(

Some philanthropist ought to start a Betty Ford type clinic for them.

if Money has no power, what was Canelo trying so desparately to get out of the way of all night long? And, why was little Cinnamons face so bruised up if he could handle the power as he said?

The biggest factor in that fight was Joe Cortez He was there to ensure Hatton had no chance. Kenny Bayless took on Cortez mantle doing same thing to Marcus Maidana in the rematch

I loved that. Cortez did a stellar job save for the point deduction.

He was breaking up hatton as soon as he held.

That nite Ricky was not allowed to "smoother me work",

Theres no such thing as "smoothering me work",

no its called holding and htting and when hatton held, it was broken up

Longtime Hatton supporter and whilst he gets trashed on these boards now he was a really good fighter in his pomp.

He wasn't having much success in that fight though. I remember feeling very disappointed that he wasn't going to be able to pull it off very early on.

It was only on replay that I realised he'd actually been more competitive than I realised.
