Its a foul when Hatton does it but Ok when Floyd does same thing. I have never seen more apparantly paid off officials than

1... Joe Cortez Blatantly preventing Hatton having any chance by calling BREAK!! as soon as Hatton got inside. Apart from the ludicrous point deduction from Hatton after Mayweather ducked through the ropes A FOUL!! deducted a point from Hatton for throwing a punch at him when all the punch hit was the top rope

2... Kenny Bayless yelling STOP!! before Maidana made contact. He must have attended Cortez school of referees
The look of panic on Bayless face when Floyd screamed like a woman & said " He bit me" Then the ludicrous point deduction from Maidana for elbows something he let Floyd do all fight long . Its time something was done about the blatant corruption in the sport its ruining the best sport in the world

you know theres different factors in different fights.

I think fighting it out should be allowed, however look at wlad jumpinig on peoples backs for petes sake. I wish jay Nady of the jones ruiz fight always ref wlad fights.

remember lennox lewis KO of Grant ?

If a ref stops it then I am not going to complain, I love fighting on the inside or tryinto to break out while punching but using holding as a tactic if stopped I am glad to see that- I dont have to compare it to other fights in history when it was allowed.

its much easier to see when ricky was ready to just fall in though than a hopkins clinch

u can see it a mile off with some guys, usuallythe face first type, ruiz another shining example

Hatton simply couldn't endure. If he had a die-hard training and a better game plan, he could get a UD loss, rather than KO. Yeah UD loss would be his best shot. You can't just beat FMjr by PTS, that simply won't happen. You can beat the s**t out of him for 12 rounds without receiving a single punch, and you'll be lucky to lose MD.

I only drank too much for FMJvsMaidana1. I still only gave Maidana rounds 1,2,3&5. You can't be alone man. Sh*t explains a lot of happens with a nice chunk of posters on here.:-(

Ok...so you're a hater...cool...at least be factual...if you're not counting tkos(FMJ's last was against Hatton in 07) and that Ortiz bs, FMJ's last KO was against Justin Juuko in 99.....:deal

 FMJ had Ortiz out of his element. As the short fight progressed, FMJ had Ortiz bouncing in front of him confused or moving directly backwards (which was a big nono, since FMJ discovered he had the speed advantage in the 1st round; take note of the several straight lefts FMJ pulls the trigger on. FMJ once said, that he only throws that punch when he sees his opponent off balance, check it out). Before the headbutt, FMJ opened the 4th round with biggest flurry I ever seen him throw, with no response from Ortiz. Ortiz was visibly frustrated by Floyd holding him away with him with 16 secs left which triggered the headbutt. IMO it was the first time i'd seen FMJ come close to completely fighting toe-to-toe.

    I had the same experience.

My argument for FMJ beating Pac in a nutshell. Too bad Castillo had to learn this the hardway. My question to anyone that thinks Pac beats FMJ(which I can only perceive would be by KO) is who has he knocked out lately that would make you think he would beat the best boxer on the planet (maybe you hate Floyd and think he's #2, any lower you have a serious issue)?
