This constant claim that Hatton was the best JWW in the world for 4 years really doesn't mean much when you look at the opposition he fought and beat at 140 after he beat Tszyu: Maussa Urango Castillo Lazcano Malignaggi Factor in that he fared so underwhelmingly against Collazo in his first effort at 147 that he immediately returned to 140, and that he got spanked by Mayweather at 147 and Pacquaio at 140, and it's really quite a mediocre reign at JWW (5 wins over less than stellar opposition), and hardly the stuff of a HOFer. Which is why the win over Tszyu is always held up as evidence of Hatton's greatness, because what came after that really wasn't all that much. Imagine if Mayweather hadn't been chasing DLH for a big $ fight and had stuck around at 140, Hatton's reign there would have been very short indeed.
**** no he does not deserve to go to the hall of fame, he was one of the biggest hype job's, you have to beat the best he did'nt even come close he got his ass kicked in by Mayther pacman devoward him so what did that fat **** do, "Nothing".
hatton beat collazo who is a hell of a fighter, everyone bar mosley has struggled with luis. htton dominated urango. mayweather & pacquiao are elite fighters,no shame in those losses. end thread.
