Hatton needs to fight Witter now, there is no excuses now, he tried the best and failed, now he needs to fight the titlists at 140.

he was knackered after the second round. Like I said before, de la hoya put up a better fight, and thats an old del la hoya who has been in a lot of hard fights, and who himself had hardly been active in two years. Something wasnt right wth hatton, not taking anything away from mayweather as hes a great fighter, but hatton looked like he had no strength from the 2nd round. As for witter, hatton should stay well away from him. He would also be a stylistic nightmare and he hits hard. He looked like a shell last night, and If you watch some of floyds fights i.e. corrales, gatti, he looked eletric. Last night floyd barely had to open up or look electric, really it was an easy nights work for him. I think all the stuff he said on the mic afterwards about him loving the uk fans etc was all to placate the crowd. Ricky stalked, led with his face, and threw **** all. I was gutted he didnt make a better fight of it.

Looks like you're the one with a desperate attempt with an excuse.

This was the best form of Hatton I've seen in long while. Very aggressive, successful in driving Mayweather back to the ropes where he was effective, and threw crisp punches from all angles. Performed better last night than the Tszyu fight.

Problem is, it wasn't good enough. Floyd outboxed him and wore him down. We already saw against Collazo how he doesnt take punches well at 147 lb. After taking a flush 3 shot combo in the 5th that got Hatton's attention, it was basically the late rounds of Collazo all over again.

No amount of your excuses can change facts. Get over it buddy.
