Id agree with that but say it applies to Pac too. A lot of people on here seem to think its going to be like the Hatton Mayweather fight for some reason, with Hatton coming straight forward looking for an elusive fighter who he wont be able to hit or get to grips with. Not sure Manny is that man myself. Yeah he will definitely hit Hatton with a fair few jabs and straights, but it depends how many he lands and how much punishment he takes. It could also turn into a brawl, and Hatton wins everytime then. Really cant wait for this, gonna be an excellent fight.
Sorry, be its a no brainer here. I strongly suspect that Pac did not really want this fight. This isnt a shot DLH, or an out of depth Diaz, this is Ricky Hatton @ 140. Seriously, if Hatton can steer clear of cuts, then I would say he will KO Pac within 8 rounds, I am that confident. As said above, Hatton ahs not come close to losing at Light Welter, and with his reach/weight/height advantage, I can see Manny getting severely beaten. Its a win-win situation though, Hatton beats P4P best fighter in the world, but Pac has no shame in losing, he has moved up 4 weights! I cant wait, it should be a classic.
Pac doesn't want? Huh? Stop believing gossips, he is the one who even signed the contract first sir. Hatton doesn't have most advantage physically... only advantage he has is height and weight. Everything is at Pacquiao. I haven't predicted anything yet. But I know the outcome will make me happy.
your are real funny guy is he gonna stop pac like he stopped lazcan? or urango? or callozo? or even paul malignaggi for that matter because i dont care what anyone says that fight should not of been stopped when it did ohhh man i forgot ricky hatton knocks everyone out
That's a perfect recipe for disaster. Come forward fighters suit Pac's style. Barrera learned his lesson. Morales didn't. Marquez stayed away counterpunching but Pac found a way to knock him down 4 times. :yep
i presume you're one of those who voted yes in this thread. :rofl http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=118841
it's true that Hatton's size advantage makes this fight interesting. Not only will Hatton be bigger but he is also the type of fighter that can use a strength advantage very well. He will probably come into the ring 6 or 7 lbs heavier than Pac.
No, De La Hoya was bigger. Hatton could never fill out 154 effectively, or 160 (vaguely) as Hoya did. Size isn't going to be the issue. Style and speed will kill in this fight.
For all I know there is no fight that easy.... if its easy then the fighter won't bother training right? People automatically thinks that if Pac wins this they already called *******. I say this the one ******* are the one saying that Hatton is a walk in the park. Vice versa also for the other side. I don't even have a prediction yet. Both guys have advantages and both have disadvantages so its a 50-50!
