Hatton will turn the fight into wrestlemania.

I hate his wrestling style its probably the most offputting style in Boxing today.

Mayweather sr. is moving him away from that tactic. In the previous fight it was malignaggi who was reduced to wrestling.

He has no choice, but to use it against Pac though, because if he doesn't Pac WILL KO him. Lazcano hurt Hatton.

Funny as hell that it was Malignaggi and Mayweather with the holding, as they didn't want Hatton to land punches on the inside. Expect Pacquiao at least trying to hold Hatton on the inside. They can't let even a single body shot landing, and if Ricky gets inside, holding is the only way.

Will you hate Pacquiao's holding as well?

Funny how Shane Msoley has fought in a very similar style lately and has used chronic holding for many fights in his career and yet no one seems to complain. Hmmm, just athought I had.

Anyway, I wouldn't be too worried about Hatton's wrestling if I were you. I'm sure they'll be enough action and big exchanges to overshadow all of the holding.

Chronic holding in his career ? which other fights are you referring too ?

I can excpet Mosley doing it against Margarito, because Mosley is 37 and he does not rely on it to compete at this level.

    Hatton is not a wrestler.

He is a wily old fox.

Pac hasn't taken shots from anyone with power from 140 upwards.. so at this point I would say Hatton has a btter chin yes.

Plus its not Pacs chin thats the point its his glass body.

Then we have Hopkins initiate 176 clinches against Calzaghe which probably tops anything even John Ruiz has managed... people make too much of a big deal over Hatton's holding. Yes he holds a lot, but I've lived in this country a while now and he's not always fought this way as some would have you believe. Given the choice I'd rather watch Hatton over Hopkins, who unless he's fighting a B level fighter never looks good and looks to spoil. I will however say that Hatton is blatent and obvious, Nard likes to mix the fouls up so he rarely draws attention to any one particular aspect of his fouling.

As for Hatton's chin, it's very good, or at least it was before Floyd outclassed and stopped him. Watch the fight again though and see how many times he's hit flush moving in... I dont care who you are or how good your chin is, eventually you'll be KO'd unless you're James Toney... if nothing else the Margo and Mosley fight showed us that even the best of chins can be checked.

Collazo, De La Hoya I, Forrest II (dreadful fight), Vargas fights, Wright fights, Cotto (fight was alright, but could've been a lot better without al the wrestling)
Oh yes he does. People talk about how much he likes to get into exchanges, but really he'd rather initiate a clinch than exchange to cover up some of his defensive flaws. It's been a constant strategy in his career since moving up to 147. Sometimes it's tollerable such as in the Cotto fight, and other times it's outright dreadful like in his fights with Mayorga, Margo, and Vernon Forrest. You can't tell me he wasn't doing an insane amount of holding there. I mean yeesh! he could put guys like Hatton and Ruiz to shame with fights like those.
