You must be stoopid then. Collazo is a powder puff puncher,Floyd is NO Azumah Neslon either,Lazcano is a blown up lightweight. Eamon Magee flawed him too. His glass body Hatton was holding on for dear life against Urango and he was hurt by Lazcano to the body too.
How does this mean his chin is bad? How many times has he been dropped in his whole career? with his style you have to admit he has a good beard, he gets hit flush all the damn time. If someone hits you constantly in the face it will hurt you eventually. This does nothing to say Hatton has a bad chin.
Very fair points... people talk a lot about Hatton's holding, but really there are many fighters out there right now who rely on it. It' ugly, but don't act as if he's the only one out there who does it.
There was hardly any holding in the DLH fight  There was a lot of holding in Forrest 1, but i didn't see as much in the rematch. I can remember any excessive holding in those fights except for the Forrest 1 fight, but as i said that was CLEARLY Forrest. Hatton's win over Castillo must have more clinches in it then any other 4 round fight ive ever seen. The man is a wrestler, simple.
He's getting tapped with a stick.. I like Pacman but it is a weakness for him, he is liable to being hurt to the body.. The stick wouldn't be even getting used if he himself knew it.
Yes there was, not to an incredible extent, but Oscar doesn't clinch at all, and there was plenty of it here and there all initiated by Mosley whenever Oscar would get too close as is Shane's custom to do. atsch You must be getting the fights confused because the rematch was an all out hug-athon. :verysad Don't act as if Hatton is the only guy out there who holds, brawls, and wrestles his way thorugh fights. Like I said before, there are plenty of fighters out there who rely on it to a very excessive extent at times to get the job done; Wlad, Hops, and Mosley just to name a few. If you have a problem with it fine, I do as well, but don't single out just one fighter and be fair and start talking on all the rest.
thats bull****.he was stopped twice early in his career when he was still a kid and his training consisted of playing pool in the streets of Manila. since hes trained by Roach his preparation is top notch and hes never been hurt to the body since and he fought Morales 3x,JMM 2x and one of the best bodypunchers of his generation twice in Barrera.
Pointless bringing it up then. I think you are confused, its the 1st fight that had lot of holding, because Shane complained about it in the post fight interview. No fighter ive seen holds as excessively as Hatton does, except maybe John Ruiz. That is the kind of company Hatton's holding is mixing with. Hopkins is 43 i can understand why he holds, because he gets tired due to age. Shane does not hold excessively either and he did it against Margarito, because he is 37. Hatton is not an old fighter, but he does it because without it he does not have the skills to hang at this level. Tszyu would of knocked him out if they had take away his ability to maul. When they did take away his hug in the Mayweather fight look what happened. Take away Hatton's holding you take away 75 % of his chance. The truth.
well, hatton has to do this to try to nullify pac's speed, movement and activity. hatton just can't allow pac to fight at a distance and/or dart in and out at will if he wants to win this fight.
Hatton has never being stopped by a human being. His only ko loss was to a ring post with a loaded pad.
