I love it when the threads turn into fights between rival fans. Those margarito threads had me cracking up with laughter when all the machismo was flying around and they were calling each other "*****". one guy said "what are you gonna do when he is found innocent ,*****? what are you gonna do?" like he was jack nicholson in 'afew good men'
Ah ok, didn't read that We all know Hatton holds.. but he only does it at the latter end of the fights or when he is done letting his fists go. Or of course if he is in a little bit of trouble like he is here. Either way, he dominated pretty much all of this fight, and looked **** doing it coming of a confidence draining loss.
4 round the Castillo fight went and there was non stop holding all the way through. I dont want to see Hatton holding i want to see him throw his fists and lets see who is better at it.
That's just like asking Floyd to slug every fight.. he has his style and has been damn successful with it.
great post, i agree. but i don't think we'll see hatton getting close enough to pac, pac will try to keep (operative word try - hmmm) a distance and pop hatton from the outside with his vastly superior speed. yes vastly.
Maybe.... Pac cant hurt wicky and he walk's through pac? Maybe.....Pac gets wicky early with his speed? Maybe.....Pac has to wrestle with the wiley body puncher Or Maybe.... Pac has too beat the **** out of a past prime legend to get his p4p status....... Just like in wrestlemania....... I can see the relevance...lol.
Oh yeah but Hopkins is a defensive genius when he does it.. excessive holding can get tiresome but he still has an exciting style to me, take a look at some of his earlier fights some good good stuff in there. At world level though, he tends to try throw them of their game more.
Hopkins is 43 what is so hard for you to understand about that? 43 year olds get tired a lot quicker then men 10 years younger than them atsch Who is a fan of Hopkins anyway? everybody acknowledges he is boring to watch.
watch the urango-hatton fight...urango did a pretty decent job in avoiding the tactics of hatton in the middle rounds
