If Ricky was ****ed in the ass by SN his plight would be the same. At least Witter went the traditional route. Hatton punked out of his EBU shot and went straight for gold with umpteen defences of the WBU. He wqas on a real winner packing out the M.E.N wasnt he
Witter wasn't ****ed by SN he just hasn't helped himself when he had the chance. Warren can't make fans attend fights...
Let me preface this response by saying I actually do give Hatton credit for fighting Mayweather and for his other big fights against Castillo and Tsyzu. However, what does annoy me is the excuses post loss. The ref. The fans booing the national anthem. The weight....its a bit tedious. And with that post I was highlighting that the weight excuse is ludicrous. You acknowledged it yourself before, Hatton was offered the fight in late 2005 and turned it down 2 or 3 times. I could no doubt find the direct quotes that were all over forums like these from Ray Hatton himself, but the point is the fight could have been made at 140. So giving Hatton additional credit for fighting at 'a weight he wasn't efffective at' I don't agree with that. He had the chance to fight at 140 where he allegedly would have had a greater shot of winning but chose not to. Speculate if you will why that was, but I have my own theories.
You're annoyed because Hatton has made excuses like 90% of boxers do after losses. You are a sensitive little thing. :| I'm a boxing fan, I care about what fights happen and what fights don't. Talk is cheap, don't let it get to you. Enzo Mac talked plenty more crap after losing to Haye, but guess what? He fought Haye, so kudos. Good luck in the future Big Mac. :good
So you're saying if he fought the best p4p fighter in the world, but without any money being paid - then he'd have bottle. Of course, if he'd have joined that list... Did your brain fall out?
