I think him talking about fighting Mayweather again proves the opposite. Hatton had one fight at welterweight and didn't look great, his next fight there was against the p4p #1... and he wants a rematch. Bottle? He's got a little bit.
All about his bank balance. As for bottle he got it in spades, apart from when Witter enters the equation.
As you place so much faith in The Ring, I'm sure you know their #2 @140lbs is a certain Junior Witter, and has been for some time. A logical fight to make then in your opinion?
If Hatton is going to fight at 140 for the next 3-4 fights, Witter and Malignaggi and the two obvious guys to fight. Problem is Hatton (and the whole world outside England) don't give a f*ck about Junior Witter. They'd rather see Hatton-Pacquiao! If the world was ESB British Forum it'd be a really hot fight, but it ain't, so why would Hatton go out of his way to give Witter a shot. He'd rather see him rot in obscurity. And I respect that.
Junior Witter is not Roy Jones. Hatton has already faced the best. Joe missed that chance, which is my problem with him.
Predictable answer. Hatton came up short against Mayweather. So in your book because he took that fight he doesn't have to face the best opposition at the weight he's gone back to?
Predictable answer because you just compared the p4p #1 Roy Jones, to Junior Witter? Umm, it was a silly thing for you to say wasn't it! Malignaggi and Witter are virtually the same level, with Paulie a bigger name in America and for HBO. And if he fights him next, he's facing "the best opposition at the weight he's gone back to". Want he does after that, we'll have to wait and see.
