 atsch http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/boxing/article982789.ece RICKY HATTON has revealed why he will never fight Junior Witter an awards-do insult. Hatton, 29, makes his light-welterweight comeback on May 24 against Juan Lazcano in Manchester after losing his unbeaten record to Floyd Mayweather. The Hitman has been taunted for years by Witter who now holds the prestigious WBC world title. Hatton was ready to bow to the pressure until the Bradford switch-hitter put his foot in it. Hatton said: I was half contemplating fighting him but it all changed at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards in Birmingham. They got me up, Joe Calzaghe, Enzo Maccarinelli, Clinton Woods and Witter. We all walked to the stage and I shook hands with them all. Witter leaned over to me and whispered One day. I just thought, Youve just peed that up against the wall there. I really was thinking about getting in the ring with him. Witter, 34, defends his WBC belt against Tim Bradley in Nottingham on May 10.
That is beyond lame. Good god does Hatton want to be treated like a prince? His chief rival doesn't want to be his best friend and he can't understand? Pathetic.
Seriously, that's it? My god, if Witter had said hello Hatton would think he'd just mortally insulted his mother.
I think you are all insane... why the f*ck should Hatton fight Witter? All he's done is acted like a ***** for 8 years while Hatton has been fighting in the biggest fights in boxing. Witter is never going to get his big fight Keep moaning about it you little bitches... :rofl
I agree with what you say and all, I've always said that Witter isn't worthy. But that's one hell of a ****ing lousy excuse from Hatton. I mean ****ing hell..... I hope he gets KTFO by Luczano.
All this about taking the Judah fight at nine days notice - bollocks. Can I make a couple of points/pose a question: 1. Regardless of whether it was at nine days notice, do you often take fights at that kind of notice unless you know you will win - i.e. against a tomato can. 2. Did someone put a gun to his head and say: 'You will take the ****ing fight' 3. The money must have been decent 4. Why stink the place out, where were the big bombs in the last looking for a lucky KO, why didn't you seize the moment? If you really weren't ready, you shouldn't have taken the fight. Enough said.
It's simple, nobody wants to know about him, and that's fair enough, because he really isn't that good. At all. But again, Hatton ****ing pisses me off with his bullshitting. A little upfront honesty goes a long way. There's no doubt that Hatton is ducking Witter, what people disagree about is why
O shut up you cheer leader. You part time jocks cant even make a post without littering it with juvenile emoticons.
Why is it that whoever disagrees with your viewpoint gets called a 'part time fan' or some **** like that? You could follow boxing for 50 years and still know **** all, ya roid head.
