PBF is not going to 'Gatti' Hatton, but there's a reason Hatton ducked PBF at 140 when PBF wanted it...

Hatton is tailor made for floyd, Hatton comes forward floyd jabs, then sticks and moves a quick combo and then get out. Hatton is an inside fighter and Floyd get's the hell out of dodge in that situation. If anyone seen Zab vs mickey Ward this fight will be the same thing. i'd like to see Hatton beat his ass......but it won't happen

Its fairly simple, had de la hoya kept up the pace instaed of gassing out after round 6 he would have won, hatton will beat him for however many rounds till he gets the tko.

True and i cant see how floyd can win throwing 1 punch at a time or throwing less then 45 punches a round, floyd cant win this fight by just boxing, because hatton makes u fight.Floyd will have to use his leg's in this fight every second of every round, because hatton will smother floyd and hatton has the footspeed to keep up with floyd all night.

Floyd will have his moment's,but hatton will bully him for as long as floyd can take it,if hatton can bully strong fighter's like tszyu, castillo and a natural welterweight like collazo, then i know he could bully floyd.

Floyd is in for a fight against hatton and if anybody else dont truly think that, floyd wont gatti hatton, but hatton could castillo floyd, but with more strength, speed, punching and relentless pressure, the key thing to watch in this fight are floyd's leg's,once they give out,it's gonna get real brutal for floyd.

I think people are understimating Hattons foot speed in the ring. He closes the distance pretty well.

I don't think he'll win because PBF is exceptional and will tag Hatton as he tries to close that distance, BUT, he's gonna have to work his nuts off cos Hatton will keep coming and coming.

It all depends how the first 5 rounds go, if Hatton can slow Floyd down, things will get interesting, but if he gets tagged too much, too early, Floyd will plant his feet and sit in the clinches with him, using that crossarm defence and beat him to the punch.

Ricky HAS to start well, even if he takes a few shots, apply A LOT of pressure, hit ANYTHING he can for 4-5 rounds, then we'll see what happens.

If Floyds sets up in the middle of the ring, he KNOWS he's got ya ass. This fight has to be on the ropes for Hatton to be effective, and PBF's legs need to have gone by the 6th or 7th, otherwise it'll be a looong night for Ricky.

    Buzzing - can't wait.

Hey Bazook, you can blame Mayweather for that. He was too chicken to fight in front of 90,000 at Wembley. If Hatton hadn't been man enough to concede home advantage the fight wouldn't have happened.

wont change a thing man, will just answer the question as to if he can beat hatton or not (and visa versa). he still wont be lin champ at 140 period. if he wanted to fight at 140 thats what he should be doing.

as it stands, i ****in cant wait for this fight - rickys my boy but i cant see him winning this one, as lets face it PBF is some thing special.

i just hope its a great fight with both fighters giving there all, if PBF boxes clever it will win him the fight but fans want a rip up, i really hope pbf stands with hatton and trades.

I love this thread. I will keep it close..and then smear it like **** in the faces of those numnutted hatton fans that know no logic or reason. Hatton is going to not get desc. but get ****ed up..he is going to get opened up on from the outside, countered on the inside the same as collazo easily did..lol .....Collazo is no slouch but PBF is better at everything.
