Hatton won't wait long for Pac

Any title fight at 140 would make sense.

 

It's been like one week and that Hattons are already impatient? Hatton just fought too, so it's not like he should be in a hurry.

Sounds like the makings of a duck to me. Ricky knows that Pacquiao would bust him up real good and would rather sell out stadiums facing guys he can beat.

 

I figured that people would start pretending like Hatton was ducking Pac as soon as I read this. Just easy to be a couple steps ahead of the mind of your average fickle boxing fan.

If that was the case, they would have simply moved on without talking about this fight. Hatton clearly wants this fight, but why would he sit around and wait to see if Pac can draw Mayweather out of retirement first? It takes about 6 months for a huge event to be put together, so yes... they are in a hurry to get this done. Hatton doesn't have a couple months to see if Pac can put together something without him... only to then have to turn around and make plans of his own. Hatton vs Pac is a HUGE fight, and should be treated as such. If PAC actually wants to fight Hatton... then I would suggest that he begin negotiations and get the deal done. If not... how can Hatton be accused of being afraid of Pac? It is Hatton who is calling for this fight.

 

Hatton should think very hard about taking this fight. PAC is solid as a rock, and short of a crunching body blow, Hatton has **** all strategic options to beat him. Hatton's hopes will be built on wearing PAC down, but pac is not Mallinaggi. PAC is lightning quick (essentially a Judah type slickster at 140), hits like a freight train, adaptable, ring smart, evasive, and Hatton is....what?. It is difficult to envision a scenario where Hatton does not get hacked up and knocked the hell out in 8 rounds. Hatton might want to avoid this if he wants to hang on to his good image.

 

They want to put pressure on Pac because they know he would rather fight Mayweather next, and they know that that Mayweather fight is not a sure thing and they can use the fear that Pac gets neither Mayweather nor Hatton.

However, it is all BS. Hatton would likely dump any opponent he has lined up for a shot at Pacquiao even after a fight is made.

Hatton is in no position to pressure Pacquiao. He can be called up at any time.

 

HBO should let bob make this fight or we will **** you over.

 

Why the Freak should Pacman hurry in getting this fight done? He just finished a mega fight, his birthday is in 2 days, the holidays are coming and he has a baby on the way. Hatton needs to stfu, if the Pac-Hatton fight doesnt materialize so what then, Pac can still make a mega fight with PBF, Hatton has no one else for big fight. Pacman has options Hatton doesnt.

 

Love the way that the consensus on a Hatton v Pac fight has moved so smoothly from 'OMG, freak show, Hatton would kill him' to 'Hatton has no chance, it would be like the matrix hitting with the force of a freight train in there' in the space of six months.

 

Hatton needs a tune-up before going up against the freak that just dismantled the Golden Goose. Even Sr. said he'd like to get some more time and another fight in with Ricky before taking on the Mexicutioner.:yep

 

Melodrama. It took a master tactician like Floyd Mayweather 10 rounds to get Hatton off of him. Pacquiao has shown excellent boxing ability up in weight against crude and clunky David Diaz, and the 100 year old grandfather version of Oscar De La Hoya. Diaz and De La Hoya are straight up boxers. Hatton is very unique, and nobody can really say what kind of problems he presents in a given situation. From what I've seen Pacquiao doesn't prefer to get run up on.

 

a Tszyu era Ricky Hatton would absolutely destroy Manny pacquiao. But nowadays Manny has a good chance as Ricky is getting older, and seems to be losing power - but on the flipside has a new trainer.

I predict a Hatton decision.
