    Crawford looks good.plenty of skill decent power,switch hitter,if Hatton was around today,someone with good footwork,comes in at angles and let's his hands go murders him to the body imo

    As much as i loved Ricky, Crawford is all wrong for Hatton plus why would they figth at 147 and not 140 which is Hattons best weight?

    @147? :think

    Stylistically, Crawford is all wrong for Hatton. It'd be ugly at times when Hatton gets inside though.

    Crawford outclasses Hatton at any weight.

    A pressure fighter however that would have troubled Crawford is prime Margarito.

    Hatton would have likely "mauled" Postol though he would have certainly eaten a good amount of damage coming in. At 147 I'm not sure how this would have turned out I keep getting this image of Collazo having a shaky two rounds and then shifting the momentum mid fight with his crafty skill set and then dominating the conclusion of the fight almost laying waste to Hatton and then winning a decision....Crawford is just as crafty if not more talented then Luis at the time.

    Exactly. Crawford is far better than Collazo has ever been and if that fight had gone a round longer he would have got the KO imo.

    Hatton would get the same treatment he got from Mayweather and Pac. KTFO.

    Hatton surprised me with how well he fought against Floyd and I always felt Hatton was possibly a bit fresher a couple of years previously to then as well as not being in a weight division that I didnt think he looked as good in.
    Hattons foot and hand speed was very good, but I didnt like his mauling style.
    That said I think Hatton would likely have beaten Crawford at 140lb at the moment but may well be changing my opinion in the future. Crawford has looked good in career so far.
    Crawford does deserve to be number 1 today but he is in a division without a prime Hatton, Tsyzu, Judah, Witter, Cotto, Bradley etc, though I expect other good challengers will appear.

    Hatton was brilliant at creating angles when going to the body. Other than that he was face first.
