After last nights performace I'm more convinced than ever that Hatton would crush Malignaggi in 6 rounds. He has the speed to cut the ring off and find him no problem, Paulie's feather fisted hands would pose no danger and Hatton with his non-stop pressure would stop or KO him in 6. Anyone agree?
I think he would beat him, but he would'nt KO him, Cotto couldn't stop Malignaggi and he hits much harder than Hatton.
3. Cotto hits twice as hard and is twice as accurate. And actually can throw combinations. Hatton does beat paulie. But that is by smothering him. Paulie would eat hattons one and done shots all night.
hatton will win a mid round ko over paulie, just because cotto couldnt ko him doesnt mean much,we know his powers limited at 140,and hatton can hit damn hard, ngoudjo wouldnt stand much of a chance against hatton,id say hatton would take a wide UD.
Malignaggi will never fight Hatton or Witter or anyone like that. Most of his future fight will be in Atlantic City where homecookin is in his favor. He will handpick opponents and milk his ****** title as long as it lasts.
I think we found out Malignaggi's level last night He put in a gritty performance against a weight drained Cotto, but in all honesty that's the most impressive thing he has done. Beating Lovemore N'dou and getting a very debatable decision over Ngoudjo isn't convincing me he's the best jr welter I rate Witter, Hatton, Torres (and Ngoudjo) above him
I agree with that. I'm curious to know why Hatton still isn't looked at as #1 at Jr. Welter. He lost to the best fighter in the world at 147 and now everyone seems to by writing him off.
If Paulie keeps Hatton at a distance I don't see what Hatton can do. Hatton lunges in so much, but then again maybe he'll have learned not to be an idiot.
