Hatton went on to diss Mayweather for being insecure and surrounding himself with "Yes" men.

"I think he’s a very insecure man," said Hatton, adding: "He has four big minders around him and they are in his ears constantly. I think he needs reassurance and loads of ’yes’ men
    around him.

This isnt actually a PBF wind up - but I do think Ricky has made a very accurate observation of Maywthers psycie....

why would you want to be surrounded by "no" men before a fight?

that is true, everyone knows this. If Floyd did not have that support he would not be as mentally strong in the ring. That guy does not lose focus in the ring.

Exactly he is just a little man that needs normal size people around him when in reality his body guard could ***** slap him and he would cry.

yes it seems that way, but hatton should not take too much comfort from that.

im guessing hatton thinks by floyd having so many yes men around him, it means once he really puts on the pressure floyd will mentally fold.

i am not sure that will work. these yes men dont really "prop" mayweather up mentally.

de la hoya said the same thing hatton did prior to their fight, and when they were getting into the ring, it was oscar who looked nervous and not floyd.

i still give hatton a great chance to beat mayweather, and hope he does so. BUT to look at all these little side things like all the bling and yes men and coming to the conclusion that floyd is mentally weak, when the going gets tough is a BIG mistake.

i can understand people thinking that about hasim rahman during the build up the maskaev rematch. rahman has lost before and also to maskaev, so the yes men - especially that rediculous old loudmouth - were trying to pump rahman up to avenge his bad ko loss.

floyd has never lost, just like hatton, so both fighters will be confident. just because floyd has some crazy out of ring antics, and is a safety first fighter in the ring, doesn't mean he will fold easily.

but having said all that, if i had to pick who i thought was the stronger mentally, i'd have to go with hatton. he has walked through a lot of pain in a couple fights. something mayweather has yet to experience. yes, i know mayweather has been wobbled, stunned etc. but that's not the same as getting pounded round after round, and feeling the accumilation. no one knows how he will handle it. personally i hope he goes into his shell if hatton is effective with his aggression and therefore will lose because he doesn't want to open up and take any risks.

I agree that Hatton has mental strength-- he's less insecure and takes a lot in his fights.

PBF is just a celebrity and has too much money/attention than is good for ANY PERSON-- let alone a fighter.
