Is it up for grabs May 2nd? Another notch for Pac if he is the Winner. 5 different weight classes.

Hatton doesn't have a major title. He has an IBO belt and a trophy belt given to by a magazine.

It's the linear championship. Which means more than any belts, and the only reason he only has one is because they got stripped from him for bs politics.

Hatton holds the Ring belt which IMO is the most non-biased belt.

very true. i believe that the ring belt means more than any of the 4 "major" titles. i also think that who a fighter beats to win a belt is what really makes a championship legitimate

The Ring belt doesn't count as a title.Pac was suppose to beat Diaz for the 4th title. He already was a 4 division champ if you count the Ring belt at 126,but they don't count.

This would make it 6 for Pacquiao if he were to win:

    112: WBC
    122: IBF
    126: Ring
    130: WBC, Ring
    135: WBC
    140: Ring

If Ring was the world belt since 1922, and was worn by Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, and Sugar Ray Robinson to recognize their champion status, then the belt counts.

Then in that case, Marco Antonio Barrera was never featherweight champ after beating Hamed, and Joe Calzaghe isn't light heavyweight champ after beating Hopkins.
