People are coming in here and flooding the thread with off topic stuff.

I'm not a Hatton basher in fact I think he was good for the sport and the atmosphere at his fights was electric and hasn't been duplicated since.:deal There's only one Ricky Hatton!

Absolutely I never said I didn't like Hatton, I think he was great for boxing, especially British boxing but I dont think his style would of gotten him very far in America, he'd have a ton of losses fighting like that in the States.

Hatton is cool, he was an overachiever but lets admit his resume pales in comparison to Floyd....yet "they" ...seem to have a problem with Floyd's resume, strange isn't it?

tszyu destroyed sharmba mitchall in 3 devastating rounds just months before, had him down 4 times and left him with a big knot on his on his head.tszyu reminded me of tyson in his early years in that fight.hatton had b**** to fight him after that.hatton rose to the occasion for that fight.quit being a revisionist historian.tszyu was ranked #3pfp at that point.

i agree, but hatton beat tszyu fair and square coming off one his most impressive victories.it was his greatest victory,a notch on ones belt that any great champion would love to have.

Hatton beat Castillo who beat Floyd

No wonder Floyd dragged Ricky up in weight and needed a tag team partner

Wish Floyd had fought Hatton at 140 in 2005.

No I'm pointing out how much lower the standards are for fighters not named Floyd Mayweather
