HIs chin is crap at 147. No surprises, Collazo showed he was vulnerable there and that's why PBF fought him (natural size and reach advantage) and made him move up.

Hatton fought his ass off, he just got dumb and it cost him. Until then, he had fought brilliantly.

Never, ever underestimated the timing of a pot-shot expert like PBF. That's what he does, what he waits for. Hatton got dumb, and he got KO'd.

    Kudos to PBF.

Both his fights at Welter were against light hitters and both times he was hurt badly late in the fight so you have to suspect that he has chin issues after tonight. I can't recall him ever being hurt badly at 140 despite his poor face first defense style. Good thing he wasn't facing Cotto or Margo tonight, that would have been brutal from the get go.

Hatton was hit by a crisp left hook while going forward just like what hit Darchinyan.

I knew it wouldn't take long for the excuses to come in. Floyd has more power than people think.

Ricky was caught with a flurry of punches a round or two before the knockout. He seemed to also be getting tired from all the wrestling going on (mayweather was doing a lot of it too to be honest). I believe Floyd's power is underrated as well.

Hatton tired himself with his spoiling. If he hadnt done thathe could have gone 12.Either way it matters not the gulf in class was way to immense from him to close.

    Valid excuses though.

Hatton looked ordinary. He walked into Mayweather with his arms down, he threw no body punches, he got hurt easily like he did in the Collazo fight.

Hatton would never beat Mayweather but don't kid yourself, Mayweather didn't face great opposition last night.

That was one of the greatest shots I have ever seen. Floyd was on fire tonight. There is no shame in the way Hatton fought. He did what he could. It just wasn't enough.

i dont think his chin got weaker as he went up...he was coming in when he got caught... that's what makes counters really dangerous...even if it was delivered by someone w/ relatively small power (im not saying floyd is feather fisted...but he aint no big hitter either) it would have devastating effect if landed perfectly

...he was able to take all those rights from kostya so i think he's got a solid chin at best

At the end of the day hatton thought he could just walk on to punches to get his out, just like he's done in the past, but you cant do that against the p4p king, when that wasn't working he didn't have any back up plan and where he was using alot of stanima he just run out of gas.
I dont think the punches that knocked out hatton were partculy hard,it's just hatton was so tired and lacking stanima that the punches took there tole.

Well done floyd anyway you've earnt alot of respect from us brits, why dont you always do your talking in the ring though!!:D
