"Needless to say, I was knocked down twice in the first round [by Pacquiao], I couldn't have had a worse start," Hatton said. "But in the second round, until he caught me with that last punch, I was wining it by a country mile and I think even Manny himself commented on how I hurt him a couple of times. And if I hurt him a couple of times after that appalling start, then I'm sure Miguel Cotto will probably hurt him."

    .....WTF.:huh

Yes yes we all know. Who cares? Hatton was knocked out he's just trying to make himself feel better.

Hatton is just a real positive thinker. Maybe too positive. His dad was quoted saying the same thing about the 2nd round. I think Manny outlanded Ricky 35-7 in that 2nd round. But the fact that he didn't go down until the last few seconds made him feel like a winner.

The poor guy was put on his ass 2 times minutes before that. Maybe his judgement was a little clouded.

    he sounds so foolish.

trying to sugar coat a 2nd round KO loss by saying "oh I was winning the round before I got knocked out"

    so lame

Hatton still lost the first round 10-7

Hatton was already in dreamland before that final KO! So that made Manny's final KO really uneventful unlike everyone made it to be.

Just trying to spin this a little bit for haters to use. :thumbsup

He's quickly going from one of my most liked sportsman to one of my most disliked.

Please Ricky, retire, tell the poeple that you were a great fighter who fell short of the elites, and then go do your promoting!!

I think Hatton did catch Pac once in the 2nd round that made him retreat a little

Other than that I distinctly remember Hatton getting his ass kicked
