At every interview, Hatton has always boasted about his win against Malignaggi. Ricky said he outspeeded him who was supposed to outspeed him. He claimed to have boxed better in that fight.

Yes, I agree. He ouspeeeded and outboxed Malignaggi. He looked good in that fight. But what really happened during that night? Malignaggi was exposed as a one handed feather fisted boxer who only used his left jab and rarely his right hand. He didn’t have any offense at all to stop Hatton on his tracks. In spite of that, he was not able to knock him out. It was Paulie’s handlers who stopped the fight. If he is using this fight as his gauge of his speed against far superior Pacquiao, Ricky will be in for a big disappointment. Pacquiao is a two handed fighter w/ fast handspeed and footwork. He should expect blurring left straignts, right hooks and uppercuts, etc. while Pac darts in and out of range.

Hatton might beat Pac, but I can't seem to pick a winner.

The difference here is that Pac can punch and (Unlike Paulie) he wont be afraid to

I think the key point is that Hatton has made a small improvement under floyd sr. Is it enough to stop paquiao.

    im not sure.

but could it nullify pacmans ability to control the fight

    possibly!

Hatton has improved some, but Pac is a tough fighter. Will he out punch Hatton? We will soon find out.

He should have knocked Malignaggi out in the first round, I agree. Hatton is a club fighter. So is Cotto.

Malignaggi went into survival very early on.He didn't throw anything like the combinations he threw in the Cotto fight for eg.
Hatton knew Malignaggi couldn't hurt him so tended to lead with that lunging left to the body rather than setting up attacks with the jab. There was more head movement but on the whole,I'm not sure we can judge Hattons improvement under Floyd Snr on this fight alone and some footage of his pad work

No offense, buddy. I can see you like Cotto, but I think I could take him. He's nothing special.

    Hatton is a joke.

Floyd SR. knows for sure that pacman is a different animal than malignaggi was.
    Hatton konws it too.
I think both fighters are fast and aggresive, what i think could be the main factor in this fight is:Can Pacman deal with Hattons power and bodyshots...
I think this fight will go atleast 6-8 rounds, filled with ACTION!
IF they don´t get any serius cut´s or injuries, then i think Hatton will KO Pacman...
But both fighters are so great, and have nice personalety.
I really like both guys, and what they have done in theres careers.
BOTH in they prime, thats what champions are about, fighting eachother!
This fight will be one of those fights we will talk about in the future!!

I doubt it. You may "think" you could take him too, but that isn't likely. I'm pretty tough. There isn't much chance both of us could beat down Cotto. Sorry to have to say that.

    Hatton is my *****.

Win, lose, or draw, Hatton can fight at 140. I think this fight will be a good one.
