i thought scott quigg was the stand out on the undercard. i look forward to seeing more of him. not a bad show all around. i would of liked to have seen more of the macklin fight, maybe a bit of backwards and forwards you know, but you cant argue with the finish.

Quigg did look good I think that rhys Roberts if he finds a bit more power he would go far

Very good card. First time in a long time i watched the whole card. Horton and Renda fight was top class fight of the night. If Horton had power it would have been a war.

Macklin looks good at the weight, look forward to seeing how he grows.
Quigg looks a good prospect but Roberts has no chance, far too open. The minute the lad meets someone who can bang it's night night.

    Overall a good night.

Good fighters crap opponents, fair enough for the prospects but not guys like Thompson and M Murray - future looks good for Hatton though

Yeh, great value that lad and seems to have improved a bit - him v M Murray again in a 10 rounder would be a quality undercard fight for Hattons next show.

the 2 big fights ended quickly but nobody in there right mind would of predicted Macklin winning by KO in round 1 and Renda by KO in round 2. so you cant blame them for that.

but every other fight was a mismatch. Guys like Quigg, Martin Murray, Vassel need to be stepping it up. i dont get why Martin Murray wasnt in the british title eliminator.

rhys roberts will find more Knocks out as he moves up to 6-8 rounders. Look at Bellew and Cleverly for example. were not knocking guys out until they pushed up.

he looks good now and the rave reviews on ffn will get him up more fights.

Didn't see it. What was the crowd like? Many there watching the undercards?

^ the people around him are smart

with sky behind him and with that natural connection/friendship with others fighters, i think he can make this a success

i just hope him, hayemaker and calzaghe would merge

Very enjoyable card. Much better than the dross we normally get served up on a Friday night.
