It's on the Boxrec News site. Apparently there was a disagreement over the contest taking place, therefore Hatton has terminated the contract forthwith. He will now be promoted by Jane Couch (who I thought worked for Hatton) for his future fights....... it said he was paid £12k for the contest. Tight *******s - surely he could have held out for a little more :think
is this another case of the Hattons using people then dumping them once it's not to their absulute benefit any more? Or have they changed their ways?
Ain't that boxing for you... You don't get what you deserve, you get what you negotiate....is he in a position to be able to argue the toss over money...:think
I'd have thought he could have gotten himself more for saving the main event on a televised show at short notice.

Hmmm. The spin on the Bristol report says it was the Hattons putting their foot down...Boxing Scene is much more detailed saying Woodward cancelled the contract without Butler knowing. Then cheeky tw*t Woodward goes and blames the Bristol paper for getting it all wrong...no doubt he was banging on their door demanding they do a clarification when it made him look good...not.
