Yep, I agree but I think theres every chance it will happen. I can't see Hatton-Mayweather II being any worse than Oscar-Mayweather II though...;)

He may do both if Cotto doesn't come a cropper in the meantime.

Hatton brings nights no other British boxer has brought for years and years. Long may it continue.

Pac Is a former Flyweight champ and Is one of the most limited elite boxers I've seen. Hatton will pummel him all over the ring and If It was staged In Britain, I would hope the BBBoc refuse to allow It.

It is a less of a match up size wise then Hopkins/DLH or even Floyd/Hatton; Pac is bigger then hatton tape wise. If pac fights at 135, proves himself, its a great fight. Even more immense if Hatton could go down to 135.

Why shouldn't Hatton fight within his size limits just like every other fighter does. Hatton is a V small junior welter weight and belongs in the smaller weights.

Size wise, Hatton fighting in the Welters is equivalent to Calzaghe fighting in the Cruisers.

If they're going to allow Khan-Gomez, they should allow anything.

I think Pac will still have a good dig even at 140 and, if he retains his stamina and a good percentage of his speed, the result is no foregone conclusion. Hatton is bigger, but Pac is better.

Pac-Hatton won't even be close. A small feather who likes to come forward against a light welter who likes to come forward.

The only remotely great and elite fighter on Joe calzaghe's resume (even be a 43 year ol' one), got huge kudos out of beating a guy, much smaller then him, who once fought at featherweight. Thats the weight pac is at now! Joe Calzaghe is 6ft, Hopkns 6ft 1.

Pac has more then a chance at 135 and I'd put money on him if he was a fair outsider.

I agree, its very unlikely, especially at his age.

If pac has some fights at 135 and proves himself there, then perhaps makes the step up, it should be interesting though.

I agree that jumping straight into a fight with Hatton at 140 would be rather ludicrous!

me too, but PBF will probably take the path of least resistance again so that means Hatton again.

p4p Pac is streets ahead of Hatton, but he started at what? Bantem or something like that.

Pac's recently been weighing in at 130 and entering the ring at 146. When you think Mayweather weighs in at 147 and enters the ring at about 149, then Pac ain't a small feather no more. And he's not exactly carrying much flab.
