I think he will have atleast one more fight - based on him making up excuses for his loss, and on how much he would want to go out on a better note for his fans. So what do you think he WILL do next???

(If he fights i can only see it being in england, but you never know)

Hatton will go into stand up comedy...lying down.

Push his range of merchandise. Although his double barrel shotguns will have to go back to the manufacturer because they can not do two rounds.

The winner of Khan/Kotelnik, as long as the winner is Khan.

Or Tim Bradley I'd be very interested in seeing as I've championed TB to beat him for a while now. But I could see this does not make great sense as a retirement fight. Khan would generate a lot more excitement if he beats Kotelnik impressively considering how **** Hatton was.

What about Hatton v JMM if he loses to Floyd? If not Hattons next fight - the fight after.

There are possibly no particularly big fights for JMM at 135, where he's now champ, and he can't really do the bigger guys at 147. Marquez is cracking on a bit now at 35, so he may well fancy the payday Hatton brings (if he still does). No one else at 140 really sticks out... or brings any money to the table.

Just an idea, not saying it's right, does anyone see this fight possibly happening if Hatton carries on? Or is Hatton too far out the picture now?

I think JMM would be too hard a fight for Hatton to retire on. Too much risk of losing. In fact I would pick JMM to beat Hatton.

If he fights again, I think he would go for Khan should he get past Kotelnik.

Retire. Does anyone really want to see him fight again?

It would be an extremly tough fight no doubt, and one he'd do exceedingly well to win.

I just get the feeling after the quick knockdown Hatton might fancy another go at a top guy. I think he may be itching inside.

From what I've read so far (as little as there is) - he's looking at a couple more fights. After failing twice, I think there is a slight chance he might fancy a third crack at a quality guy. Whether he would get it or not and whether he deserves it is another matter.

After coming this far, I don't see him quietly slipping away to fight a low key opponent - he might do though.

Khan does tick a lot of boxes though, and is a VERY good possibility. If Frank lets him in with Hatton I think we can say there is a good posibilty he believes Hatton is pretty much cooked.

Having said all that, Hatton may just depart fighting someone we've barely heard of. Who knows.

Hey, I'd like to see him retire, but there is a good possibility that it looks like he's going to choose to fight on.

The problem is that if he fights on and has a UK "farewell" (its a bad sign in itself if he starts caliing it that!) fight against Khan you can guarantee it will lead to another fight if he wins.

He may as well just draw a line under it now.

Also, I see no problem with retiring on a loss. I see it as going out on your shield, personally. It's much better to go out on a loss to p4p no.1, than some bull**** fight that you only took because you had a great chance to win.

Another fight along the line of Lazcano as a farewell in the city of Manchester stadium is my best guess

certainly won't ever fight Bradley (or Holt, Torres, Ortiz, and Marquez - unless Floyd ruins him).

I read about a rumor that he might fight Katsidis.
