Oils story's real okay, he used to be seen in the clubs in Ashton after the actual fights, rather than go to Manchester.

I'm from Ashton, lived in a few places around Waterloo etc, now live in Mossley.
When I was 17-20 Ashton had tons of pubs all down Stamford St and Old St, last time I went there it had not even a tenth of that, went in some dive called Molly Malones.

I agree he was not himself after the Mayweather fight

but I don't think he was "shot" as much as he just didn't give a **** anymore.

new trainer who was a ****ing clown, balooning even worse than normal, looking like a weight drained corpse on the scales.

IF the pre mayweather fire is back, he might still be able to do something at a certain level of course.

If I was mapping out the goal for Hatton it would be something like this:

November 2012 Vs a guy like this http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=497592&cat=boxer

March 2013 Vs N'dou

August 2013 Vs Malignaggi

Feb 2014 Vs Khan

Or maybe swap Paulie and Khan around or whatever.

I dont think it's impossible he could win all four of those fights as long as he stays in shape, ALL THE TIME through that period

he does that, he retires a "champion" on a massive superfight knocking **** out of Khan.

its more plausible the 2nd time he mentioned it not the "i put my arms around his shoulders looked into his eyes and said when are you going to stop ducking witter",instead he said "he walked past me and i said' when are you going to fight witter"
that is more plausible, thats not giving it the big 'i am' its just like asking someone a question :smooch

if he said that in the 1st place,i wouldnt of called him a knobjockey,****ing simple really :deal

I've not heard that one before!

8. The Hatton hate is ****ing ridiculous.

I honestly hope he sparks Khan, Brook & Garcia.

People forget how good a boxer the lad was, yes he stuck to the tried & tested brawling after Tszyu, but for ****'s sake it was working.

Give Khan, Brook & Witter Hatton's resume, how many losses would they come out with? More than 2 I bet.

Prime Ben Tackie probably sparks all 3 of them :D

Betty is right Hatton hasn't learned anything, he has got depressed and gone away to lick his wounds. But instead of maturing as a person he is still the big headed conceited bellend he always was.

Heard a soundbite on the radio this morning about how he was going to "Splatter" someone. Can see that kind of talk coming back to haunt him.

a bit like when he advised people to remortgage their homes and put it on him to beat Pac.

He's too thick and arrogant to ever wisen up.

It was no secret he was coming back, he just called the presser so he could do what he likes most, that's talking about himself and bigging himself up.

he needs to know his chin and body have been through a lot of damage, and his defense and general stylistic problems make hitters and slick fighters give him hell!

If he fights some not to good uns/average fighters,he might do ok.

He could fight someone like witter or kotelnik for a comeback fight, then fight bailey or peterson for a title.

he must not be allowed near- brook, probably khan, maidana, marquez, mathysee, garcia, even morales!
