I think Hattons ballooning weight between fights is catching up to him, people also forget Hatton isnt an elusive fighter, there is only so many time you can fight in Hatton's physically demanding style befor eyou show wear and tear....we are beggining to see this now.

I also cant believe how open he has become to the left hook.

I really believe Hatton peaked @ the Tszyu fight and its been a slow slide down.

I think any fighter who can time a Left hook (torres) could Ko Ricky.

Also alot of threads on how bad the REF was, yes he was poor but no way was Lozcano going to stop him, he looked extremely fatigued after throwing any combination of punches after rnd 6.

    It sure seems like it.

Took Tszyu's punches excellent, than stunned a few times and badly hurt by Collazo, KO'd by Mayweather and now stunned by Lazcano.

The war with Tszyu must have ruined him. He hasn't looked sharp even with the sloppy victory over Maussa right afterwards. His normal energy and relentless attack has turned into a holding fest where he just dives in throwing a couple of punches then clinches. His usual inside game is no longer remotely effective because he seems to smother his own work up close by holding and wrestling.

I would seriously not advise a rematch with Mayweather or he'll get starched even worse the next time around.

the thing is Lozcano/Floyd arent even noted punchers in each of their division...

the same punch did the damage

LEFT hook. Can you imagine what a De la Hoya or Cotto would do?

I hope Ricky beats Mallinagi and retires real soon.

I'm starting to wonder if even little Pacquiao could hurt him at 140. That would be a sad day for British boxing indeed if Manny can knock Hatton out.

Not as sad as Oscar starching him inside of six.

If Hatton's punch resistance is dropping with each fight, does that mean by the time he's 50 Malinaggi might be able to buzz him?

I question Hattons declining punch resistance to. To be fair though hatton was punched into a turnbuckle against floyd and still got up, Lazcano has a lot of kos on his record. Lazcano can punch, I accept those are at a lower weight though.

Every hit you take to the head lowers your resistance to the next punch. The sack of fluid that protects your brain loses rigidity over time and allows your brain to bounce around. This has been known for many decades.

The way Hatton takes shots, he has to be softening up.

5 KO's in his record thats Malinaggi. There should be no doubt now why this clown is high on the Hatton list of opponents he anxiously wants to fight.
Hatton is now on that short list of has-beens soon to be brutally KTFO. That will surely come to pass the moment he steps in with a lethal opponent instead of these setups. Hell even these setups are putting the wood to Hatton.
