    It isn't great either though.....

    His top 10 in order......

    Tszyu
Castillo - the manner of it puts it at #2
    Tackie - ditto for #3
Phillips - would be higher but he was hurt in the 4th and VP was 39
Collazo - #5 because it was close
Urango - could go higher depending on JU's future achievements
Malignaggi - I knew Hatton would stop him, Paulie overrated
Maussa - not great, splattered Harris though
    Magee - underrated ironchinned southpaw
Krivalopov - took Tszyu the distance I believe

His record is good very good for an active fighter.

Who thinks he is an ATG.

    ATG?

Never heard that. Although at 140 he hasnt looked remotely close to losing.

I think his record is pretty good. I prefer Cotto's though, and they fought in the same divisions at the same times.

Which do you see as Cotto's best wins?

    Mosley, Judah, Malignaggi, Quintana, Torres.

    In that order?

If so I would be tempted to say Hatton has a better resume......

    Malignaggi is common.

Inside the distance wins against Tszyu and Castillo are clearly superior to Judah and a contentious-ish points win over Mosley, imo.

Have Quintana or Torres really done anything to be better wins than any of Tackie, Urango or Collazo?

Hatton's loss was against a far superior fighter than Cotto's loss, in addition.

I think Cottos resume is overall just as good, its close, but Hatton has the best win being Tzsyu.. that was career defining win.. Something I think Cotto has yet to get.

    -Paul Malignaggi
    -Juan Lazcano
    -Jose Luis Castillo
    -Juan Urango
    -Luis Collazo (at 147)
    -Carlos Maussa
    -Kostya Tszyu
    -Vince Phillips
    -Ben Tackie

It's not bad, but it isn't so good. However, you won't see much difference if you compare it to Aaron Pryor's resume:

    -Antonio Cervantez
    -Gaetan Hart
    -Lennox Blackmore
    -Dujuan Johnson
    -Miguel Montilla
-Alexis Arguello x2 (Arguello was a natural 130 fighter)
    -Sang Hyun Kim
    -Gary Hinton

I disagree. The Shane win is on the same level as the Tszyu win, and may actually be a bit better. Beating Judah is definately better than beating a shot Castillo

Quintana has beat Williams and Julio. That's better than anything Tackie, Urango, or Collazo have ever done. Torres is about on the level of Urango.

    Tszyu = Mosley
    Castillo < Judah
    Tackie > Malignaggi
    Phillips > Quintana
    Collazo > Torres

    I'd say......

Until last week I'd have ranked Tszyu ahead of Mosley, but with Mosley beating Margo, it enhances his standing at the time he fought Cotto - taking into account later achievements and all that.

Judah > Castillo because Zab later was competitive with Clottey, whilst JLC has done nothing since.....

Tackie had taken Tszyu the distance not too long before he faced Hatton and was comprehensively outboxed. Malignaggi put on his best display and was destroyed, but still.... Tackie the better win I'd say.

Phillips > Quintana.... but not by much. This could change if Carlos gets a few more good wins. Stood Williams on his head, but was pulped in the rematch.

Collazo is better than Torres, who is an overrated banger.
