There is alot of talk of Hatton being the bigger guy in this fight.

No doubt Hatton will be heavier in the ring but what about differences in height and reach etc?

Just as big, just not as naturally big. He has bulked up, but he still has never been in the ring with anyone as physically strong as Hatton. I am certain when the wrestling and mauling starts it will be Hatton who is by far the stronger.

Hatton has jsut looked bigger in photos cos hes so fat. If hatton had looked after himself he could of been a Super Feather.

Must admit I am quite shocked to see Pac is as big (if not bigger in some cases) than Ricky.

yes...i'm surprised how close they look in size in photos too...but its natural bulk size thats different...hatton is naturally broader

rob..do you really think hatton could have been a super-feather ?

Absolutley. Mayweather, Mosley, De La Hoya, Corrales, all guys naturally bigger than Hatton and won world titles at 130lbs. If you look at Ricky in the early WBU days he had clearly not grown into Light Welter yet. Most fighters either go up or down in weight a couple of fights after turning pro. Its either they start to bulk up eating lots of healthy food and at the age of 18-22 you get naturally bigger, or they drop down allot of weight due to eating right and training everyday. Hatton had every single fight at Light Welterweight until Collazo. If Hatton has looked after himself no doubt he could of been a lightweight and maybe super feather.

Super featherweight? No chance. Maybe Lightweight until his mid/late twenties.

Can't I just say "this is just what I expected"? Works for HOF trainers.

Pac puts on ALOT of weight so don't be suprised if Hatton weighs 148 or something and Pac weighs upto 150ish.

I think Hatton has the natural thickness advantage i.e. shoulders, waist, legs. Pac started at 106 pounds where as Hatton was 140 pounds all along (though I suspect he could have maybe done 135 early in his career). You can't go by measurements as Pac is ridiculously muscled now. I'll have a naturally bigger frame then many bodybuilders but their stats will kill me because of their muscle mass.

Pac has a mesomorph body, small frame but carrys crazy muscle. He is like Flex Wheeler and RJJ. These guys look unbelievable because of it. He is also like RJJ and others in that he can carry the muscle so well that it doesn't affect his speed, power and he can still stay strong.

It can't be denied that v Diaz and DLH he was boxing all the way. When he looked strong, it was more a result of him being so fast and power in bursts. He never really bullied them.

I expect Hatton to be stronger if he can tame Pacs speed and power. Hattons got fast feet, no ones ever continously got away from him so I expect him to be able to stay with Pac. It's all about what happens with their upper body that will be telling i.e. punches, defence etc
