PK, I understand a lot about this subject as I take a lot of the aforementioned items. How can whey/casein etc be bad for BMR? All food is made of macros, Protein, Fat and Carbs. BMR can be governed by PEDS, cardio, amount/type of food eaten etc. I can eat 3300 cals a day and strip weight. Less than 20g carbs a day. Also I bulk and cut, certainly not consistent. Also Hatton didn't have a consistent diet. ATM, I weigh 272lbs, in Jan I was 248lbs. All pros on PEDS.
If Hatton was constantly ingesting supplements that involved little digestion by the body. This will affect you're metabolism! Digesting food and a large meals takes energy, and the fact of the matter is..? having a diet that is largely made up of supplements does not have the same affect on you're metabolism. "You're body is like a steam train, the more coal you put in..? The more energy is produce. Somebody who is fat can have a faster metabolism, than a skinny person. Sometimes, its down to what you're body does with food...... Store it as fat or whatever... That's why some athletes use the 6 meal rule! David Haye uses this type of diet. Because eating actually raises you're metabolic rate, the worlds most leanness and fittest animals do what all day..? Eat.....Horses eat all ****ing day. If you was to take supplements that add up to 3000cals a day, 300g of carbs and 150grams of protein, 30gs of fat.......this would not have the same affect on the body as a diet of food which also added up to 3000cals per day, 300g of Carbs and 150grams of protien, 30gs of fat. I personally just eat 4 times a day most days.
He is a long way from making his old weight judging from that pic, good to see him in better shape though. If he adopted his old regime he could maybe do it in 6 weeks but he ain't a youth nowadays, it all adds up to the toll.
I reckon I could take a stab at guessing a 50% correct rate. Malinaggi, 147, Manchester MEN, second Saturday in December.
i think he could be a success if he comes back, but he should maintain that weight for a year - cutting weight, his alcohol intake has probably took its toll, but people underestimate the body's ability to heal itself. See, Scott Harrisson, Antonio Tarver, Vince Phillips etc
If Hatton lived the Lifestyle of David Haye for example. David Haye inbetween fights still has a pretty decent diet, and he still keeps himself in healthy satisfactory condition. But now and again, the Hayemaker does have a drink i suppose. "I think this is a achievable lifestyle for somebody like Ricky Hatton, i doubt he could live the lifestyle of Bernard Hopkins".... I wonder if Hatton still drinks heavy on a weekly basis..? If he could just kick this habbit! he could have some success. In his prime, he was getting hammered inbetween fights and snorting coke constantly.
when did he get all that new ink... defo back to a decent weight for him - im still hoping he stays retired
If he comes out retiremant now, he will expect to jump straight into the ring with a decent name i.e. Paulie or Amir. Obviously in his prime he disposed of Paulie and would have Khan to, but to jump out of retiremant after such a long lay off is stupid. Boxing isn't a sport you can mess about with, its either whole ass or nothing. I think he loses to Paulie or Amir should it happen.IMO
Probably bollocks but i heard Hatton felt Kell Brook disrespected the Hatton family when he fought Matthew and is keen on returning to fight him
