That would have been a mouth watering fight 18-24 mnths ago, but at this stage of Hattons life I cant see him having the same heart and determination. Obviously getting him back in the gym working the pads etc has wetted his appetite and got him back in shape but I'd leave it there. Maybe join in a few sparring sessions but thats about all I'd personally suggest for him.
I'd love to see him warm up & then get straight in with someone like Garcia, bet he would too. Let's be honest here, he's coming back. He just wouldn't lose all that weight for **** all, it's not in his make-up
When you put it like that its very true. If he didnt have a fight he wasnt interested in wandering around like posing and rip to shreds he seemed fairly happy being a tubber. If hes coming back for gods sake dont cut any corners and take a few easy domestic level fights first. I know its kinda risky cause he cud loose but hes been in there with the best holds some good wins over tzyu, paulie, urango. Nothing left to prove he was world class just not in with the elite
i think if he keeps his weight down, he should do a bit of sparring and see how it goes, and aim for a early 2013 comeback. At this stage he can't afford to have his weight yo-yoing all over the place.
