    This can't be denied.

Previously to losing to Hatton, Kosta looked PHENOMENAL against Mitchell. And Kosta had a long lay off (18 months) and then sparked Mitchell. And Kosta might just be the ATG @ LWW.

Miguel, on the other hand, has some great names as victories BUT some of them are just downright not that good!

Martinez? Jesus. The man was borderline crippled.
    Zab? Past his prime.
Margarito? Already battered Cotto the first time, but it's a good win.

Other than that he has lost all his most meaningful fights.

Hatton's list of wins is borderline terrible, IMHO. He spent way too much of his prime during his WBU "Reign of terror" and should have got the big names earlier. But that Kosta win is magnificent.

    Hatton's win over Kosta > Miguel's resume.

That single win is probably the best win on either fighters resume, but Cotto has fought a much higher calibre of opposition overall and more frequently and has achieved considerably more success in more weight classes.

You didn't even mention the wins that Cotto had on people like Torres, Clottey, Quintana, Foreman etc....would Hatton have even beat those fighters?

He's also the better fighter, and will be held in much higher regard in years to come.

I agree that Cotto has fought much better opposition.

Foreman? Cotto got that win because Yuri buckled in the ring.

Clottey? Damn tough fight for Ricky.

As if Kosta Tsyzu was some unbeatable force, King Vince Phillips didn't seem to have a problem dispatching Tsyzu

Cotto is a better fighter than Hatton, would beat him at a140 and 147 and has a better resume.

Wouldn't beat Ricky at 140 at all.

Better fighter all in all? Yep.

    Kosta > Cotto's resume.

Was that even a boxing match between Tsyu and Hatton ?

Cotto's win over Mosley trumps this wrestling match !!

He'd batter Hatton at 140 lbs.

It's also funny that no one else tried to move up to 160 lbs. to fight the lineal Martinez. I didn't see Pacquiao, Mayweather, or anyone at 154 lbs. try to make the jump that Cotto did.

Cotto fought Martinez as an underdog and beat the living sh!t out of him. It was only after Cotto battered him that the haters say... but his leg... but Austin Trout.:|

Kosta was probably the most overrated boxer of the last 20 years.
