Great fights. Most notable is that these fights were on ABC's Wide World of Sports. I remember as a kid watching these fights and many others (Larry Holmes, Earnie Shavers, Aaron Pryor) on ABC. These type of fights (Haugen v. Pazienza) were typical of ABC's broadcasts. The top tier fighters would fight on HBO and the occasional SUPERFIGHT would cost you $30 on PPV. Now it's $60 anytime you want to see what may or may not be a halfway decent fight!

I thought Pazienza won the first fight. Haugan clearly won the second and Vinny won the third. No robberies in these fights imo.

I thaught the third bout could've been a draw or a close one for Haugen.

No way, Paz clearly outboxed him.

The third fight was the worst, not sure why ESPN showed that one. Still good to see those old fights from the 80's and early 90's.

What the hell does that have to do with anything?

Paz and Haugen were evenly matched and put on great fights nearly every time out.
