The first fight was close and some felt Haugen as defending titlist deserved to keep his crown. In the rematch Greg was much better and Pazienza never got to grips with the cute style of Haugen, dropping his title by comfortable decision. This was the beginining of a slum in form for Pazienza, something he would not reverse until he moved up to Junior Middle and upset Dele, only for fate to turn on him once more with that car crash.

Ok thanks for that mate, so was it a pretty good entertaining fight?

Also why did Mancini and Paz not fight each other?
Mancini came back and fought haugen and camacho

The first fight had its moments from what I remember, but come the rematch Pazienza was disappointing.

When Mancini finally decided to comeback, Pazienza was to fight Mayweather (a fight he lost), and Camacho seemed to be almost in semi-retirement not having a meaningful fight for two years. So as Camacho still had his '0', Mancini must of figured it was the best fight on the table, and he was a little unlucky to lose if memory serves me right.

Ok thanks, yeah from watching paz at lightweight against camacho, i was thinking that they (him and boom boom) remind me of each other.
