i don't loathe the kid like many on here. he's a talented kid and has skill but seems to have a shaky chin. over here (like anywhere else i guess) there are boxing fans and there are sports fans who like a good fight w/ big names. he's known among boxing fans...doubt if any sports fans have any idea who he is over here though.

 

canadians have. oh and salita, i saw him in new york on the roy jones undercard. he could have lost that fight and khan is gonna trash his ass

 

I like him, nice guy, very fast, haven't seen much of him, did see him outclass that Kotelnik character earlier this year...for whatever that was worth...I don't know, that chin still bothers me. I mean I watch this video here and I say will his friggin neck spin around his head if he were to get hit by a guy like Marcos Maidana?

yup. No bull**** modeled his face for a character in a book i'm writing. I don't hate him nearly as much as alot of people here seem to. If the dudes got a **** chin then he has a **** chin not my problem. His combinations are fun to watch and the dude has wicked handspeed.

 

yeah man he's still so young. he's got a lot of upside if he can find a way to protect his chin. either that or he needs to develop a bad mean streak and get a big chip on his shoulder and want to get hit

He gets a lot of flack here but a lot of it was due to the fact that he was starting to believe his own hype too much.

I actually became a fan after he got his ass knocked out and came back more determined than ever with a new perspective on boxing. Good kid and I hope Roach takes him far.

 

That is a good point. He lost publically and brutally, and didn't just quit or lose his confidence. Instead he came back and got back to doing what he was doing, and that earned my respect.

 

i was laughin at the idea of khan wanting to get hit. just me being bored. he doesnt seem to have a mean streak in him. maybe its a product of his youth so maybe with a little age he can get mean and want to trade and get hit.
