Have Cellphones Ruined Boxing By Eliminating Fights in Telephone Booths ?

    Remember watching old fights and the announcers would go crazy with excitement when two fighters would duke it out in a Phone Booth ?

    It was pure action and helped boxing's popularity. It has evaporated with the emergence of the cellphone.

    What can be done ?

    I noticed Mexico has made sure there boxers wear TelMex trunks keeping the spirit alive.
    This could be why Mexican fighters are so warrior like.
    Even just pretending to be on the phone and yapping a lot like Carl Froch helps.

    The more to do with telephones the better the fighter. Irrefutable.

    In reality fighting in a phone booth isnt smart if you wanna have a good brain

    But phone booth wars are great.
