Just wondering. Seems that if either one were to unload with a body blow, that they could make short work of just about anyone they hit.
I think either one should be able to land some serious power shots to the body, but they never try, or at least I've never seen them try. Maybe in their early fights?
other than Gerry Cooney who in the last 30 years that was 6'5" + threw body punches? :think It leaves someone that tall open for a huge counter punch. Not worth really doing it.
Actually, the Bulgarian prospect Kubrat Pulev knocked out Matt Skeltton with a body shot just a few months ago.
I see Wlad every now and again probe the body to open up the defense but I haven't seen him actually unload downstairs in a long long time.
They are too tall to go to the body unless fighting men thier own height. Headhunters and damn goos at it too. Why give thier opponent thier only shot to beat them. ...................BUT Wlad threw some nice bodyshots on Thompson who was his height. He threw one of those Tyson double uppercuts on Tony, left to the body then right up to the head with same arm.
