Have Haye and Booth been exposed? January 17th, 2011 Though he was usually very wrong, Aleister Crowley got it right when he said that Falsehood was invariably the child of fear in one form or another. Nobody really seems to know the exact details behind David Haye and (trainer) Adam Booths recent decision to abandon negotiations for a July 2nd superfight against Wladimir Klitschko. But as expected there are two conflicting stories coming from both the Klitchko & Haye camps. However over the last few days I have noticed some inconsistencies in Hayes statements . Hayes given reason for the talks with Klitschko falling through, was the fact that Wladimir will now be facing British and Commonwealth champ Dereck Chisora on April 30th. But what has this got to do with the Haye v Klitschko fight? All that should matter to David is that Wladimir is willing to fight him on July 2nd. However, Wladimir remains adamant that the bout can proceed on July 2nd if Haye still wants it. But Haye seems unsure, claiming that its unthinkable that Klitschko would return to the ring against him so soon after his April 30th defence against Dereck Chisora. Wladimir stated in a recent interview I dont need a half a year to prepare for David Haye I will fight him July 2nd, if he wants to fight. But Im doing my schedule my way. And Keeping active so either David Haye will join it, or not. The world isnt going to end if David Haye ducks me again. The planet keeps spinning, there are other fights. However, Haye said that he doubts Klitschko will be able to take him on barely two months after fighting Chisora. Haye stated A bout with me is the most lucrative, meaningful and dangerous fight Wladimirs ever had, not some throwaway tune-up. I wouldnt expect Wladimir to fight anybody nine weeks after Chisora, let alone me. More recently Adam Booth went on to claim during an interview with the Daily Express that David would be interested in a fight against Vitali for the month of May. Booth said that I just hope Vitali has a bigger set of man jewels than his brother. I cant help but ask myself, does Haye have the slightest bit of interest in fighting the Brothers, or is this just him and Booth playing games. Its obvious that Booth as Hayes manager realizes that a bout with Vitali cannot happen until July 2nd, as this is the first available date that suits Sky UK and RTL Germany. So why is he challenging him for May, knowing that this fight cannot happen?! hmmm And if Haye is questioning Wladimirs ability to fight both him and Chisora in the space of 9 weeks, even going as far as to say that its unthinkable. Why then is he expecting Vitali to face both him and Ordanier Solis in the same time-frame? (Vitali meets Solis on March 19th ) So Now that the dust has settled its hard not to suspect that Haye is only using the Brothers for publicity, and is hard not to suspect that he really had no intention of facing either Vitali or Wladimir to begin with. The big question here is, does David really want this fight on July 2nd, If so then Will he please let Wladimir worry about getting ready in 9 weeks and just agree to the fight? if not then its beginning to look more and more like David Haye is a child of fear. Thoughts pls, preferably some with some serious thought in regards to the situation!
You know what I bet Booth is just plain dumb and mixed up something or forgot that RTL didn't have a May date. I doubt Booth is planning or scheming any big conspiracy at this point anymore, he's just plain stupid that's all.
Thats the point evrbody with a brain has to ask about Hayes and Booths credibility.# They talk bull**** the whole day and some idiots believe it.
:twisted:Aleister Crowley:twisted: got it right when he said that Falsehood was invariably the child of fear in one form or another. I wouldn't say that :twisted:Aliester Crowley:twisted: ever got ANYTHING right, but Haye is a coward and a schemer, so aside from this one sentence I agree 100% with the OP!
According to BBC "Assuming the Klitschko-Chisora fight goes ahead, Haye would be expected to take on a mandatory challenger or face having his WBA title stripped from him. However, if he were to finalise a unification bout against Klitschko he could apply for an extension to avoid having to fight twice in a short space of time." So Wlad is forcing Haye to either have his mandatory or to pay step-aside money to Chagaev. Wlad wants also to renegotiate his tv-agreements and wants to clear out the last fight of his current contract and aim for bigger bucks for future fights (Haye-Adamek etc). So like Frank Bruno said it´s all about the money and most important of all - These guys owe us this fight!
Very good point! The dates are what really ruined the negotiations (probably planned by Haye so he'd have a way out) so for him to offer a fight to Vitali within those same dates is just f*cking stupid! Besides Haye and Booth were exposed years ago when they pulled out the first two times... Not to mention the optional dangerous title defense against the beast Audley Harrison...
SO Wlad cares so much about the UK revenue and getting 50 % of it right ? So hes nto gonna do full promotion and get less sales seems strange thats another way of looking at it thsi whole thing is strange Wladdy and haye have made agreement I think
David Haye and Adam Booth have sought to make the most money while incurring the least risk and bother (that is, in the ring) possible. Most recently, that has translated to into finding opponents about every 11 months who offer three things: (1) a plausible historical CV (2) extremely diminished skills (3) a distinctive promotable gimmick (e.g., I must fight Rahman for England because he beat Lennox, no mention of the 2nd fight though. Throw in a little collateral hype (e.g., the cowardly Ks will not fight me) and you have the Booth/Haye formula. These guys are focused on the big picture involving "Brand Haye" as a broad-based entertainment phenomenon. I have heard they muse that "Brand Haye" can be bigger than "Brand Beckham". What Haye fans must realise is that boxing is only a piece of the Haye picture...and a small piece at that.
