I have said the exact same thing to a friend of mine that has started to follow the sport. 9 times outta 10 the initial feeling you have when a fight is signed is usually correct. Then the spin doctors take their time convincing us that the underdog ( usually no-hoper these days ) actually has a chance. If it looks like nobody is buying their ****, cue the injury, delay the fight for 8 to 12 weeks to really get things stirred up.

With all that said, I thought Khan was a better opponent for Mayweather than Maidana, and I wouldn't be surprised if Khan won the fight. I wont be surprised if he loses either, but I have formed my own opinion through my own observations and tend to ignore articles meant to sway your opinion. I think he has a better chance than most give him to upset Canelo. Funny thing about boxing, you always have to allow for the corruption factor, so even if he did win a decision, going against Golden Boy's Golden Boy so to speak he would have to convincingly win 10 rds to get a split decision and that's another thing entirely.

What evidence is there that canelo ever showed he had any stamina leaks, in any way, what so ever.

If you're part of the ignorant cult claiming canelo coasting vs trout in an open scoring domination (complete and utter domination, per pount system) then you child need to understand what's going on in the fight and who needs to dominate the closing rounds to have a chance.

Canelo unloaded on trout in round 7, after the kd, took 8/12 off and still fought on dead even terms. That's after winning 7 of 8 with the kd. Ya, major stamina problems, too much stamina for just about everyone except ggg

Is it just me, or does Khan look slow in the training videos?

And without his speed, Khan is just a glass-jawed fighter with a low ring IQ. For such a fast fighter, Khan has poor defense.

    He's ****ed.

I personally can't wait for Canelo to knock Khan out, so he and his delusional fans can **** off for good.

Lara won 8 of 12 rounds and couldn't win a decision.

Kahn on his best night could prob outbox Canelo 7-5 and he damn sure isn't getting a decision.

    Most likely outcome Canelo ud

Settle down there grandpa. Watch rounds 6-9 vs Rhodes. Hell watch the ending of the Hatton fight. Alvarez has shown stamina issues in the past. He didn't 'coast' vs trout. He spent the entire time with his back against the ropes lol.

Canelo isnt that good either and his punch output seems to decrease in each fight... 25 years old and doesnt even throw 500 punches lmao

He gonna lose sonner than later and wouldnt be surprised at all to see khan beating him

One of the major problem with Khan is that he is not resilient at all. Once he is hurt, he starts fighting instinctively for the next couple of rounds. Canelo won't let him survive that long once Khan's hurt. I'm guessing it will be a TKO around 6-7.

Boxing is a game of styles, cant compare algieri to canelo, algieri is a tall rangy southpaw who is tough with underated skills, bad opponent choice for khan to look good against.

He's got no chance. Canelo is not a murderous puncher but hits hard enough and is bigger than Khan. Khan is getting KTFO. Khan has no power to keep Canelo at bay.

Thats the most likely scenario here. Will be interesting to see if khan can keep his speed at this weight, if he does he will certainly be punching harder due to the extra weight behind his punches, if this is the case i think khan can hurt canelo due to the speed factor and combination punching, a punch he doesnt see coming. If he cant maintain his speed he is ****ed.

I fully expect something resembling the Khan vs Garcia fight

Khan would really have to have a lot go right for him here and probably just as much to go wrong for Canelo

Khan is going to run and hug like a girl. Canelo doesn't have the power to KO him cold, even with his chinny chin chin, unless Khan gets reckless. See point 1. Therefore I see it as a boring UD for Canelo. Like most of these "big" ppv fights.

They'll be picking up glass for weeks once Canelo connects on Khan's fragile British mandible.

On paper at least, I think Khan probably has a better chance with Canelo than Wade does with Golovkin.
