Khan has very fast hands and is very good technically

His technique isn't pretty and text book type boxing but he is s very good boxer with a very high skill set.

But he makes silly mistakes, let's his head wander, takes his eye off the ball and does something stupid.

I've felt all along since this was made if Khan has the right hand plan and can stick to it he will win a decision around the 116-112 region

Nah, it's not as bad as that. :bart If he's fit and disciplined and light on his feet he could win on points. Say ... 20% chance to win ...

Khan was blown out at lightweight.

I highly doubt he will be able to withstand 12 full rounds of Saul's bludgeoning attack at basically middleweight.

Hell if Saul comes in at around 170 fight night, which I expect within a few pounds, then Khan is looking at a damn near literal suicide mission imo.

He has MORE than a chance. Height, reach advantage. Speed advantage. Jab advantage. Stamina HUGE advantage. About same weight. Equal power.

If he keep it half-smart he can outbox Alvarez all night long, and possibly even stop him

Weak chinned Cotto took some tremendous shots from 170 pounds Alvarez. Wasn't ever hurt. How so? Because he wasn't weight drained himself. When you move up in weight, chin follows you.

You take an iron chinned natural HW, drag him down to light heavyweight, and he'll be sparked by non punchers.

Do you seriously think Khan can withstand the attack that Canelo put on Cotto for 12 rounds?

Would love to be wrong, but I have a bad feeling about this one.

I don't see it either, but I will LOL heartily if Khan UD's Canelo or especially if he KO's him. Losing to Khan is much worse than losing to Golovkin. :yep

Keeping your chin moving up in weight is not the norm by any means.

History shows us that most of the time, chin tends to fail when a fighter moves up.

Khan proved me wrong before with his gutsy performance against Maidana, so we will see soon enough.

I didn't see much pressure at all. It was more of a chess match. Very technical, very deep, fine, but kind of underwelming for the war it was supposed to be. Zero knockdowns, zero boxers hurt, zero wild moves from either part. They just boxed. Khan can do that better than Cotto. And he's much bigger than Cotto.

And if Alvarez uses against Khan the same strategy he used against Cotto, and it's the one he usually adopts, he's gonna lose. Badly. Without ever hurting Khan.

It's not an infallibel rule, but in general, it works, like going up in weight helps in the power department too, usually.

Khan has said that his punch power has increased three fold now and he might have even got faster.

Key thing to remember - this is Khan saying this :rofl

That said, from what I have seen, it looks like he has kept his speed so far.

Khan is a Glass Jawed welterweight who was handpicked for a reason.
