they're showing the card on the 12th live from york hall. I'm i missing something? i thought they were pulling the plug after december?
12th of Feb there is a Hennesey card at York Hall. The only fight scheduled on boxrec is Steve O'Meara vs Yassive El Maachi which is a step up for both. I think John O'Donnel will be on there to defending his commonwealth.
Brook would **** him.:deal I heard that ITV were making a deal with Hayemaker too? It don't surprise me, their voewing figures have been pretty impressive for boxing over at ITV4.... even the delayed coverage of Froch-Taylor at eleven at night did well. I have hope.
the lack of support for boxing by tv companies in this country proper gets on my tits! and when they do support certain events they put adverts in between rounds which ****ing ruins it cos i want to hear tactics...

Would be great for the sport if they do stay in boxing! Great news if they are showing the Hennessey Card.
I said ITV had reconsidered in another thread and then people went onto make another few pages going about ITV stopping boxing atsch It was in boxing news a while ago that Barker vs Butler got 600,000 viewers.
O'Meara vs El Maachi is on Friday night is on Sky but it says it's a matchroom card. So i'm not sure if we should read to much into it.
All due respect, but don't just assume stuff on boxrec, namely who will show it on TV as gospel-especially this far in advance. Until there's something official from Hennessy or ITV (rumours in Boxing News don't count either:nut) assume they are done.
I would think it's more likely matchroom are leasing out or putting on their date in conjunction with hennessy. If itv were staying on you'd think they'd look to do it with a bigger event that odonnell-afrobum and yassine much as I like him. As for rumour of itv hayemaker' deal I'd imagine coldwell would have a good idea if that was happening.
I don't really know anything for sure, just that it would be great if they stayed in boxing, but yassine says his fight will be live on ITV4.
i get the feeling he is being confused. looks to me like Matchroom have won the bids for the fight. if so Hennesey must be in the **** because there both his fighters.
