I notice that in some threads when posters are bigging up Eric Morales, (especially if they argue that he is greater than Floyd or was ducked by Floyd) they mention that Morales beat a Prime Manny!

Notice that the word prime is the qualifier in the statement...in their argument defeating Manny is irrelevant if it was not prime Manny from 2010 or less.

Well my question to you is has Team Pacquiao and his fans finally accepted that he legitimately loss to Eric Morales? Why the change of heart and opinion? In 2015 is it the smooth and cool to admit he loss to Morales...because I remember a ton of excuses being made for every Pacquiao loss especially Morales! So lets go through them shall we....

    1. Pacquiao loss to Morales because he wore the wrong gloves...pity..

    2. Pacquiao loss to Morales because he wore the wrong socks....yep they were too thin for his amazing speed and footwork..

    3. Pacquiao loss to Morales cause he wore the wrong shoes, yep that excuse went along with the socks

    4. Pacquiao loss to Morales because he got a head butt and those really hurt! Owwwww!!

    5. Pacquiao loss because he had to take a blood test a day or two before the fight and according to his fanbase this made him weak.

    6. We learned after this loss that Manny is superstitious and Morales used this to defeat him, therefore he cheated.

    7. Pac had a cut and blood make him weezy, Eric knew this, how unfair

Most amazing thing is that there were more excuses for the Morales loss than the Mayweather loss!!
Go figure! And lets not even bring up the Marquez and Bradley excuses...we could go on for days!!

No shame in losing to Morales in a war, he got some revenge in 2, 3 I don't consider that lofty a victory because EM wasn't really in impressive shape.

He did have some excuses back then, Pacquiao is a sore loser and there's nothing wrong with that, the man's used to succeeding, he showed respect to Morales and Marquez between whining at least. Whine Manuel Marquez is a terrible loser as well, so is Cotto.

Obviously there was plenty of shame otherwise there would not had been a thousand excuses!

I'm only surprised the shoulder injury is his only excuse

Only the lunatic fringe pac fans never accepted it.

Morales beat prime Pacquiao. It is what it is. And it happened. Morales won the fight.

You can't spell Morales' name correctly.

I'm starting to think you know nothing about Erik or Manny.

    From 1:40 to 2:20

When asked about the gloves, Pacquiao says he followed the protocol of the promoter / commission and Freddie Roach says [the gloves] were in the contract, we were not asked...!!!

So Team Pacquiao doesn't read the contracts they sign...??? :think

Not reading something and signing his name to it , Pacquiao would never do that, would he...??? May 2nd medical questionairre...???

It's Morales killing himself making weight who has the more legitimate excuse for losing the second and third fights. He outboxed and toyed with Pac even in the second fight before he faded late. Partly Pac's punishment, but more because Morales was past his physical prime, and more than that because he was drained after cutting too much weight. Morales even after getting blown out in the third fight was clearly the better man through 25 rounds.

Even past prime I still see no reason why Morales fought a dumb fight in the 2nd and 3rd, fight intelligent and he should beat Pac past prime or not
