Boxing has to be standardized and unionized on top of everything else you said.

Boxing is dirtier now than it's even been...more corruption inside and outside the ring

Fighters are still taking dives...getting cheated out of their prize-money..loading their gloves..
Promoters are still buying rankings and black-balling certain fighters..ect ect

Crooked judges abound as if were still 1940..

the biggest problems in my eyes are that the governing bodies and the promoters haven't been interested at all in catching these PED cheats for the past 10 years, the tv stations didn't want to talk about it and the boxing magazines didn't want to write about it.

When did Wlad get caught on PEDs?

Vitali got caught years ago, from what he says it was to treat an injury.

That's why the governing bodies should be governed like other sports.

Boxing is the wild west..Shi.t is buck wild like never before..nobody is watching and the ones that are watchin DON'T KNOW SHI.T.

Naseem Richardson proved that on several occasions.

    Vlad admitted it.

Vitali got caught the same way James Toney got caught..to treat an injury..
Steroids are used during surgery because it shrinks tissue..

That should not be held against them.

They are tons of ways an innocent athlete can use a banned substance and not even know it...

Roy Jones bought a can of ripped fuel in a convenience store that contained a substance that was later banned...He never used Steroids:deal

Sinus meds contain steroids....so do some patches and topical creams...things you'd never expect contain banned agents.

No that is the story Roys attourney leaked to the media, Roy never had his B sample tested because he chose to admit guilt on the A sample and then leaked this carefully planned excuse.

The only people in the know were the Indiana commissioner Jacob Hall and the IBF and Jacob hall stated there was no proof Jones took ripped fuel or Andro.

Wlad admitted he was on PEDs when? Can't find anything when I search for it and it would have been big news.

PEDS dont " dramatically " improve fighters at all.

Skills win fights, not PEDS.. It sure didnt help Vargas beat Oscar.

I think some fans got this thing all wrong but PEDS dont make u superman and alot of the banned substances that fighters have been getting caught with recently are not performance enhancing drugs. They are weight cutters or anything but performance enhancers.

It makes me laugh when people accuse a fighter of winning on drugs..

If you are a better fighter than your opponent, drugs or not, you are going to beat him period.

Weight cutters in boxing don't really help their performance but they allow for fighters to fight in weight classes they really shouldn't be fighting in.

And this allows for fighters to cut big amounts of weights to gain advantage over a fighter who cuts weight naturally as they will be bigger on the night.

Also PEDs won't make up for skill but they will improve speed, power and help with recovery so you can train harder and more often which means you have more time to work on your skills.

How big does the gap in skills need to be to overcome a fighter on the best PEDs?

So by your logic Bert Sugar must have known more about boxing than most current trainers, or participants, as he was " involved " in the game for decades.

PED's do improve strength and help turn fat into muscle whether you believe it or not.

Fat doesn't turn into muscle. I doubt that's what you literally meant, but it's one of those statements that grind my gears :yep
