    some interesting comments

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0118853/Boxing_21_05_2011/

Groves saying maybe he's a main event ppv fighter from now on

and bunce saying if david haye was a tramp he'd be the best tramp on the street and willing other tramps on to be as good as him

much better analysis than sky though

He'll be on his own if he reckons he's a ppv headliner. The only possible fight that could headline a ppv other than vs DeGale is vs one of the monsters at the top of super middle, and I seriously doubt that's going to happen any time soon.

Yes, I had no opportunity to watch it so I listened to the whole shebang on 5Live.

    Excellent stuff all round.

Good coverage as always, Buncey seemed very subdued at the end of the fight.

well the rumours are that SKY was happy and surprised about Groves support in the o2, and see a potential fight with Carl froch (sky fighter) in 18/20 months time on PPV.

Not sure about groves being a PPV right now maybe if he goes for a title. However there are some great boxers in Groves division so i am not sure if he can get a title??

This fight has made him a big name imo. 24 hours ago his twitter account had 3,000 followers...now he has 13 thousand. I agree it's too soon to be thinking he can headline a ppv again but he is a popular lad and the british public could really warm to him, dont be suprised if in 2 years he is headlining ppv's if he makes it to world level.

Stieglitz is the obvious choice, but Warren will get him over for a fight with Degale in the next year-18 months imo.

build groves on sky sports. if he is gonna do ppv put him on a mega mag 7 style card with a fight in the us.

i no Matchroom are planning to have Darren Barker do the UK leg of a Froch vs Ward US PPV. Why not pair up Groves and Barker. chelsea fans in london.

Thanks to everybody who listened to the Five Live coverage.
It was a glorious night, a spectacular.
I still think it is wrong that DeGale gets booed and that got me a bit at the end.
They both put in a shift last night.
I had it, by the way, 6-6.
    It was electric.
I'm hoping to get as many people from the fight as possible on Thursday's show.

    Adios.

you cannot say the things DeGale said and not expect to get booed. I no this is boxing and its a tough mans game and the banter is part of the game, but DeGale crossed the line and his comments such as "ugly ginger kid" came across as bullying.

degale is to thick to work that out just like he was to thick to realise Groves was a decent fighter.

Eubank used to get booed for far less. Degale brings it on himself, but it doesnt feel right that he gets that volume of hate and boos.

I still think he is the better fighter and can potentially have a better career than Groves. But, he needs to change his trainer.

If they put Groves in with Froch they want shooting.
