At Ricky Hatton not the hardcore boxing fan but the people who only watch boxing when hes fighting and are taken in by his "this is for the pound for pound title" and his manchester mexican talk bigging himself up people paid 15 pound expecting him to have a classic fight instead he looked second rate.
Seriously, what was with the jumping in with his left hand down ****? I spotted that straight away, in the end it was his downfall, he was ****ing **** last night.
If anyone had the right to be pissed off it'd be the folks who broke the bank to fly out there, not the people who paid a measly 15 quid. Even so, they've got no right to be annoyed. They're adults with their own minds and judgements who are capable of forming their own opinions. You can't hold Ricky responsible for that nonsense. Firstly, they should know that Ricky's in for a percentage of the take, so it's his job to sell tickets and what he says isn't fully reliable. Secondly, if they know the slightest thing about boxing they should know that KOs can happen at any time; it comes with the territory. Thirdly, it's not as if any of the bookies had Ricky as the favourite going into this; people knew what could happen. Fourthly, value for money is what undercards are for.
thats the nature of this sport. you can never tell when these things happen. pretty sure ricky at least tried to give it his best shot in there. he just came face to face with a juggernaut.
its ok to get pissed. They know its possible he might lose, and its a decision they made. If they're gonna get pissed, its probably to themselves.
sounds right to me.... why would any1 in there right mind, think Ricky Hatton even had as much as a good chance against Manny Pacquiao, Manny ain't no Floyd......and even that didn't end well
No doubt those dumbasses that posted 500 words analysis on why Hatton would win talknig about Bodyshots,Pressure, strenght,Pac has a glass body,Ricky isnt Diaz blah blah and all that bull****. when it was clear to anyone who has watched both fighters that Hatton didnt have the style and wasnt good enough to beat Pac.
Pac is the real deal,Marquez is the real deal,Hatton was a good fighter but he isnt and never was in the same class as those two.
Aw get off your high horse. You want want people not to analyse fights? To not ask perfectly valid questions in the lead up to fights? Yep, it turned out Pac was too good for Hatton and he answered all the pre-fight questions regarding how he'd deal with a decent 140 lb fighter but doesn't make asking the questions "bull****" or the people asking them "dumbasses".
