i hope setanta show this. if they showed wlad/thompson than surely they will televise this somewhat intriguing bout? it will be interesting because Amir Khan's comeback is on the same night (december 13) will they go head 2 head with sky?

There is nothing about this fight on www.setanta.com so at the moment the answer is no. However they quite often announce fights like this nearer the time so dont be surprised if it is on Setanta.

I dont think that it will matter that it is the same date as Khan's comeback fight. That is likely to be another ppv so it could work against sky.....

I hope nobody buys it. I certainly wont be
It is highly unlikely that it will be against anyone good so I cant see how they can justify another ppv for that chinny **** house.

If his opponent is Gethin then that to me is a Bethnal Hall fight not a 20,000 arena fight. To have an English title fight on SBO as their main event would be a disgrace....once again.

I reckon Setanta will keep showing Wlad's fights until he fights Haye to keep the hype-machine going.

not sure if it has even been officially anounced yet, but cannot see setanta going head to head with Khan unless Khan is PPV. Would not make sense.

Although they are trying to build up Haye vs Wlad. (maybe not showing wlad would help actually)

yer no point in going head 2 head with khan unless khan is PPV. however maybe they will show a tape delay because wlad/povetkin is a pretty good contest by todays heavyweight standards

I don't to be honest but its only my oppinion but ive only seen a handfull of his fights so may be im missing something.

Wlad will jab his head off, hold when he gets near he will hold him like he was his girl friend and when the oppertunity arises he will hammer him with rights. Of course its never a given who would of picked Brewster, sanders or purity :think

Thing as i said on another thread i thing povetkin may be a bit green, reminiscent of tyrell biggs vs tyson.

what ever im looking forward to this fight :happy

although i do rate wlad the heavys...well :-( and wlad will bully and clinch is way to a decision in this one. it goes without saying the real interest is in the smaller division and i would much rather watch amir khan

Agreed on this point. Wlad will struggle and look poor at times but will get the stoppage win. The Khan fight is a complete non entity for me, whether its ppv just means that sky lose loads of money, so who cares. Khan is finished, unless he can completely change his style and choice of opponents.

I hope Setanta do show the Wlad vs Pov fight. I would really like to see that and it would build up the possible Haye vs Wlad fight. I will not be watching the next Khan fight.
