Have the Klitsckos offered Haye a fight without options?

    That's the sad fact.

I agree that Haye may face a Klit one day. When he decides to retire and that he only wants one more fight.

He will then sign with Wlad (Cause Vitali will be retired) and get the living **** beaten out of him.

He will walk away with cash. He will be seen by his fans as some sort of legend. The rest of the boxing world will see him as one of the biggest disappointments and conmen in history.

Of course, there is always the chance that Wlad will hurt him so badly that he wont get to enjoy his money.

There was no rematch as Wlad won. Had Ibragimov won there would be.

The 3 fight option gives Suaerland a percentage cut from Hayes fights, they cant dictate opponents and can only fore a Valuev rematch once he a) wins a tune up agaisnt a ranked opponent and b) Haye vs Valuev is the most finacially apprealing fight

Booth has stated the Klitsckos are still treating Haye with no respect and like a challanger, which implys hes not getting a fair cut and being treated as a challanger.

Haye wasn't faced with the prospect of having Wlad stomp the living **** out of him previously.

    Nothing wrong with the following:

    - 60-40 purse split in the Klits’ favour
    - Rematch clause if Wlad/Vitali lose, with a 60/40 purse split in Haye’s favour
    - No options on future fights
    - Klits entitled to German TV money, Haye entitled to UK TV money, 50-50 split of US TV money

    What was offered:

    - All gate and German TV money to Klits, UK TV money to Haye
    - Rematch clause and contract stipulation to fight the other brother in event of Haye winning, with the same financial agreement
    - Options on three Haye fights if he wins, after any rematches, under the K2 banner

That’s what was on record. Basically, a slave contract. The Klits are entitled to get the best deal they can, but Haye’s entitled to the same. The double standard is appalling.

Haye didn’t ‘duck’ anyone, he looked for the best deal. Now he’s in a better position to negotiate.

Also, Chagaev shouldn’t have even held the belt. He’d been out so long that his championship was moot, even before Valuev refused the fight based on Chagaev still having hepatitis – which should have disqualified him from fighting. He was unfit to fight, he lost his belt. End of.

That is absolutely ridiculous, a one-sided rematch clause in a unification fight. Iggy made something like $5 million Dollars in that fight, probably more than in his entire career before that and retired on that money alone.

Please post a source otherwise you're just wasting our time.

M8, no way he made 5 mill pounds for the Valuev fight - Valuev who is a defending champ would be having a career payday had he accepted VK's 2.5 mill $. It was a good decision to leave VK for less money, but face it - it was not because of money bu because he thought Valuev would be an easier option.

he was talking about the same stuff - VK held a title, Byrd was a challenger, got lucky and had to deal with his little bro next fight. You just need a lesson in history, that's all.

as someone said before, it's a complete bollocks and you are talking from your arse son. there is no such thing as a rematch clause in unification fight nor it can be reinforced. of course, had Ibragimov upset WK, we as well may have seen a rematch, but not because it was in the contract!

Heavy stuff Chef... I thought WK was Byrd's mandatory and that there shouldn't be any options in mandatory fights?!

I think everyone should accept the truth by now, whether you're a Haye fan or not, it is OBVIOUS that David Haye has bitched out and is running scared from Wladimir Klitschko. That much is certain.

As for Vitali Klitschko, I still think there is a small glimmer of hope that Haye might gamble and take on the creaking old giant, because Vitali is like 39 now, and maybe, just maybe Haye will risk it against the old man.

    You're talking out your ass.

    1) Haye never got 5 mill vs Valuev

    2) Even if he did 60/40 vs Wlad is still the same amount give or take a few hundred K

    3)

    4) Haye's bitched out 3 times now (FOUR including this time)

    5) Wlad is the recognized HW champion. if Haye wants a piece of him a rematch clause is standard fare.

    6) Haye clearly does not want the fight.

    7) You will clearly defend Haye no matter what.

Really? How come Byrd fought the Klitschkos three times and Haye not once so far?

Byrd was a late replacment for Vitali's voluntary defense. Wlad was Byd's mandatory challenger in 2006. How can these situations be compared with Haye?
