Yes, he did. He got his purse, a share of the German TV money and £5 for every UK PPV sold (£3.75m). So, even at just the PPV money, he made over US$5m.

Let's say that the total purse for Haye-Wlad is $10m. I'll make it easy for you too - each 10% is equivalent to $1m. So, Wlad would make $6m and Haye would make $4m. Somewhat more of a difference of a few hundred K, even by your clearly limited standards.

And? What has that got to do with it?

best we can tell there's no offer out there officially, just one unattributed article that proves nothing. You can't ***** out from something you haven't bitched in to. Also, how do you arrive at three? He pulled out against Wlad with injury/money worries. He cancelled negotiations against Vitali (cause if he'd signed the contract he'd have been subject to a lawsuit) and... that's it really.

The rematch was never the issue, it was the fact that:

    - there was a clause for a rematch and an enforced stipulation that Haye must fight the other brother, with no allowances for tune-ups or other fights
    - there were three options on Haye if he did complete all three fights as winner - and at a rate less favourable than against Valuev
    - the money on offer for the fight was pitiful and, without Setanta, Haye would basically be fighting for free.

Which of those unheralded, slave-wage contracts are normal for a recognised champion to adopt?

With all those stipulations, it appears the Klits don't want the fight that much either.

Can't speak for Rob, but I will defend the double standard that the Klits are somehow virtuous in this and Haye is slimy scum for protecting his own interests.

Haye will force Harrison to sign such an adhesion contract as well with options for everything and no matter how pointless it is and his nuthuggers will call him a great businessman :deal
Maybe Haye can outpoint old Vitali by some chicken boxing so after that Haye vs Wlad would be the fight everyone wants to see and that has to be fixed before that the fight otherwise Haye will ***** out again for no reason and continues to rip off his british nuthuggers by fighting next Harrisons until he retires. Of course he needs to get a good split guaranteed in case he had beaten Vitali but thats up to the negotiations.

You're right he's not. We all know him as a classic example of a paper champ.

Tell me, Why Haye hesitates between Klit and Harrison while being 100% sure of his outstanding skills providing chances of beating crap out of Klit? There is no doubt he will earn more $ for Klits than Harrison. Is there any possibility that you even take it into very slim account that Haye actually doesn't want to fight any of Klit?

Once again, He is sure of being the best, Klits are the best payday (even if they offer "only" 40%), he wants to be respected among boxing community, he wants glory and fame, he called himself a savior. Decision seems so EASY from my point of view, but I'm not Brit which might be the reason...

Haye's reasoning is likely like this:

"Why fight a risky guy like Wlad today and risk losing my belt today if I can keep on beating a bunch of zero risk bums for the time being and fight Wlad in 2-3 years".

But Haye considers himself the best of all time. Where is the risk then? He doesn't have that much time for so many fights, he is retaring in one yaer time.

Haye thinks he can dupe us all by stalling and cherry picking the K-bros when they're out of prime. Right now he's not even duping some of his fans, as evidenced by this thread.

I love how the Haye defenders here constantly say how terrible the offer must bet that the Klits brought forward to Haye.

If Haye is interested in fighting the Klits why doesn't he make a COUNTER OFFER? But what does Haye do instead: he goes into hiding and starts negotiations with guys like Rahman, Valuev and Harrison.

The sad truth is that Booth and Haye aren't really pushing for a fight with the Klits - at least not anymore.

The more important question is what was Hayden doing at the Vitali fight? Is she the in line to be Mrs. Wladimir Klitschko or will she get options on her last name?

    :lol::rofl:patsch

Why on earth would Haye need a 'tune up' if he beats one of the brothers? That is idiotic. Hell even Corrie Sanders after he beat Wlad went straight for Vitali. So a guy that beats either the #1 or #2 Heavyweight in the World needs a tune up before fighting the other one?:rofl

Do you realize how stupid this sounds?
